Hello from Austria! Would you recommand this mashine for big quilts like blankets? I' m a Vintage sewing mashine collector but i have no idea about new mashines- i avoided them since last 20yrs. Seems i have problems with computericed mashines, since my mothers mashine only sew one skirt, made a big noise and start to sew which made me very nervous. Thanks for this informative video!
I’m having trouble getting my tension right when free motion quilting - generally the bottom thread shows on the opposite side, but by the time I get it not showing, it looks dreadful underneath. Any tips/ideas?
First, try sewing with the needle on the left - this helps the bobbin hook grab the thread, helping to prevent skipped stitches, which can contribute to loops. Also, make just small adjustments at a time to the thread tension. And last, make sure your machine is threaded correctly. Hope this helps.
I love your lessons and you calming way to explain .... thank you kindly ..... ;)) I just bought this Pfaff 630.
Wonderful! Thank you!
