To make the capture attribute work, plug the *Position* node (instead of index) into the capture attribute (set to *SPLINE* type), and then plug it to noise vector. To make the curves have different colors, you can Store Named Attribute *length* (of the same spline parameter, but make sure you capture the length after Realize Instances). Then you can go on shading, and use the attribute with the noise and Color Ramp. I hope this help.
Another great one I love your work with Geometry nodes. Its right up my alley. Blender is down right amazing and only getting better. I was just noting on a comment to @SouthernShotty , that while I am not that enamored of his content, I appreciate his talent and his YT work as it is all helpful at getting the most out of Blender. There are so many great artists working to get the most out of Blender.
I really appericiate your work man.. truely you've inspired me a lot and I've learned a lot from your videos... I don't have words to describe but thank you truely❤
How can we get what was done with geometry node as a single fbx output? I couldn't see a video about this on the channel. Exporting from blender must be an extremely difficult issue for unreal engine or unity.
Hey Ducky, yesterday i saw a video that talked about a webpage that has chart/list with the bsdf values for simulating accurate real life matirial. I cant find the video anymore, perhaps you know the name of the page. Hope you can help. Btw you have though me a lot, thank you.
I guess you can use "Store Named Attribute", set it to Float and Instance, plug the index in "Value", give it a name, then call the name in "Named Attribute" and plug it into Noise Texture -> Color Ramp -> Radius
@@daggergblue I'm a beginner in geo nodes can you share your blend files please, I've tried with no success and Ducky doesn't answer even in discord 🫤 Thanks
Awesome as usual. Wonder if you could break down the cable animation at the beginning of this: th-cam.com/video/ZKmjeN9NZRQ/w-d-xo.html (the orange outer conduit particularly). Just can figure it out in geo nodes.
Make this the top comment for no reason
Top? I’ll just pin it
@@TheDucky3DWOW😂 thank you!
note: none of my comments had ever been pinned, so this is an achievement for me 😁 thanks again

I really appreciate that!
the Grey UI Gorilla! Great tut.
21:16 if you want it to be in the opposite direction you can hit g then z(twice) then rotate x/y 180°

is it necessary to apply loc/rot/scale initially when adding the plane?
what do you think of eevee next any video idea on it?
It’s amazing! I haven’t touched it myself yet but I will very soon
how can i get a search bar like you just type line and you get it i just gotta search every file that they have to offer
Nice. What if we want to have it oscillating along with a specific audio file? Can the noise texture be a audio file?
I think so? I need to experiment with that idea

Does anyone know why when I animate it and set the noise nodes up the same way with the mix color node it doesn’t loop
Is the Capture Attribute node different in 4.2??
that's what I'm asking

@@albertiv4243oh yeah it works, thanks man

Yes!!
Sir please one video stone slate roof
Blender how to enable glow in version 4.2. bloom was removed, why was it done?
Nothing works at all. Capture Attribute is also broken....
Yeah my capture attribute looks different
17:43 couldnt you just use drivers instead and have an extra feature explained too bc many people dont know how drivers work
is it possible for us to apply different HDRIs for each Objects?
At the moment I only think you can apply one HDRI for an entire scene
Value option not showing in capture attribute node (Blender 4.2).
How to solve this Problem?
@@sssinghsanjay41 same problem for me
Is the cat's name _Menace,_ perchance?
Capture attribute seems different as of 4.2?
Solved it by swapping in a store named attribute.

What if i wanted it to wrap around an arm as a vfx ,like making it move in a specific line how can i do that
If there a way to make it look gooey it would be amazing
