MARAWI SEIGE 2017 PHIILIPPINES DIORAMA BUILD [HOW TO BUILD A DIORAMA)

- Hello once more my friends. As a popular request from one of my friends and subscriber i have decided to do a Diorama based on a true event that have recently happened in the Philippines in 2017.
This was a Global News then as ISIS and other Muslim Extremist Group in the Philippines joined forces to take a town and establish its presence and territory in the Southeast Asian Region after the failed ISIS Occupation of IRAQ and other parts in the Middle East.
This was a modern day urban battle and one of the longest in the Philippines that involved Tanks, AFVs and IFVs that donned creative and eye popping ARMOR defense and protection using woods and local materials. Call it Cheap and Third World , but it proved effective in adding extra protection to the thin armors of these AFVs and IFVs against rocket propelled grenades and handheld projectiles.

The totality of this creation is amazing. From the idea to the vehicle to the Subject matter and the dio itself, all of them came together really well. This is something to be proud of for sure. Thank you for your awareness of these things

Hello Thrifty Builder. Gotta say, i do love your YT Username as i am a thrifty builder too. As you know, i use materials that are either common, from school supplies or reasonably priced art materials. Somehow my financial situation have made me become more resourceful but i am saddened because the aftermarkets and other brands out there are really of good quality and can make my projects accurate and decent looking. But alas, I cannot afford much less have the means. Thank you very much for dropping by. Cheers.
@@IvanTheTerrible911 you are one of the inspirations why I started my own yt channel. Aftermarket kits sure do makes life easy, however, they are costly, requires cleanup and for some, needs surgery which for me is an added headache. For now, I am contented with OOB builds with a bit of scratch building.

Hello Boss Baltazar. Maraming salamat sa iyong pagtangkilik. Sa Litrato na ginamit ko, tinantiya k lang base sa height ng tao at kapaligiran. Halimbawa ung height ng sundalo sa likod ng tangke pinagpatong ko ang dalawang version ng taas niya at dun ko natantiya ang taas at lapad ng gusali. ganun din sa tangke dahil 1/35 scale na siya dun mag umpisa ang lahat ng "wedo" o tantiya. Gaano ka haba ung tangke sa lapad ng gusali. Gaano kataas ang machine gun sa taas ng tarpaulin at bubong. Sa 1/35 Scale meron naman mga figures soldiers na ganun din ang sukat. Akoy umaasa naway natulungan kita sa sagot kong ito. Salamat ulit kapatid.

The german fuel canisters were called Jerry Cans because it was a German innovation (I think) during WWII. The Brits coined them and the allies copied them with a slight variation on the design

So much great stuff going on in this! I love the Dremel lathe - excellent idea. I shall certainly be trying that out, thanks. 😁 The scratch built accessories and improvised armour are beautifully done too. What glue do you use for PE?
Hi Dan Try sourcing or look for Acrylic Glue or adhesive. It has the same property as a rubber glue. Just use it with a needle tip and always mind the web like characteristic. Other than that it can be used widely in any material but not to replace the reliable Tamiya or Revell Plastic Cement (Thin or Regular). This glue is designed for Acrylic Plastic Display Cases strong and durable too. Hope this helps.
There is also a Super Glue Product that doesn't fog. Brand name is DSPAE (NG-01) Non fogging super glue.
