I love the idea! Thank you for sharing. I usually don't like to be a critic but it was hard to watch. I got a sick feeling every time the camera jerked around. I am not professional at filming but if there is any way to have the camera not move that would be great.
Might want to use an overhead camera that stays stationary. The back/forth and up/down when you moved your head during the stringer part made it hard to watch and see what was happening because the camera went in and out of focus. Kinda makes you feel car sick.
I will have to agree that the camera situation wasn't ideal at the time. I rigged up my phone on a hat! It was the best I could do at the time. I had some people wanting to know how to make these and did this video on a whim. I did just make a new video that I posted today. I just used pictures and text. I think thats an easier way to go.
It's just a very basic petal I drew. You can try and pause the video and copy it. You only need one petal pattern. I was trying to add a photo of my pattern just now on this comment, but it's not letting me. And if your petals don't come out perfect it's no big deal. Looks organic.
I actually get them at the dollar tree! It is actually a metal flag pole, that I cut into 2 or 3 pieces depending on how long I want them. I cut them with a metal cut off blade on an angle grinder. That's the cheapest good stakes I can find!

I had my phone camera rigged up on my hat. It was the best I could do at the time. Sorry it's so choppy! But I hope it gave people an idea or inspiration.
