    Hey Weavers, here's the last video of 2020! Hope you all will like it. Next week I'll be back to uploading on the usual days of Thursdays as 11 AM EST. I know this year colossally sucked for many of us, but I hope you've all grown and learned from the diversity if any that you've experienced. Just remember, in the end, everything will be ok, and if it's not ok, it's not the end! Take care and be safe!
    -Tim

    This incorporation with leather grabbed my attention because I just became interested in celtic knotting but I haven't quite picked it up as much as I think your video has taken me. The leather material is much easier to see with the directions given which in turn I learn by a lot easier after being a survivor of a D.O.A. auto accident a few years back but by the Grace of God here I am. He wasn't finished with me yet! Thank you for bringing a more firm material to an old technique of knotting.

    For excellent leather lacing products I would suggest Weaver Leather online. I was once a leather worker and found them to be the best in in-stock product levels and service. No I am not a paid worker to post this, just years in the business. Cheers everyone!

    Great looking monkey fist. I've tried tying a two color mad max closure cobra weave bracelet. I've probably tied a dozen or more of the same thing in paracord no problem. But it was much more challenging with leather. The results look really classy, but I found it much more challenging.

    Love the look of the leather. Even though it is leather, wouldn't that single strand between the fist and the wrap be a weak point over time? Is it possible to do the wrap, pass the end through the loop and then pass the end into the fist where it comes out and secure it with a bit of super glue?

    I really like the leather monkeys fist key ring holder but it would have been better with kangaroo leather it's better quality leather and the strap is not so thick and the leather barm should be rubbed in to the leather as your going to help keep the leather supple 😉😁 Great job would like to see more leather work....

    Hey Tim, what is an easy way to keep the cord facing the proper way? It keeps twisting on me when I am wrapping.

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Zack, I'm not sure if there's an easy way to do it, but I just made sure that my cord remained untwisted before I started wrapping. I also saw a recent comment about wetting the leather slightly to make it more pliable and easier to work with. Haven't tried that yet, but you can always give that a go if nothing else works.
