Oh I like that you wztch Andrea too! When I lived in central Minnesota we thought of those first fewsnows as an advance warning to check boots, gloves, mittens, scarves and other snow gear to make certain that it was in good shape and still fit the kids. We waxed our skates, skis & snow shovel, put up the storm windows, drained the hoses & generally prepared. I also made sure to load up on holiday baking & soup /bread baking supplies. Squirreling away things to make winter cozy & delicious. Good memories of making bubbly pots of yumminess for bread baking days.
Oh, I love the "meta" in the sequence where you (my favorite knitting youtuber) are knitting while watching Fruity knitting's last episode with Kaffe Fassett (which is another favorite). And so I watch while I am knitting... ❤
I absolutely CANNOT get over your style. Every little thing in your house has either a simplicity or beauty to it that is cozy and refined at the same time. I like things to be both aesthetically pleasing and functional whenever I can manage it because if I have to use it every day, why not also make it beautiful? Thank you for sharing your life and home with the world. Your videos brighten my days. And that hat you finished! It is going in my que right now.

I love seeing your snow! I’m in the Southeastern United States and the climate is very different here. I also think it’s interesting to see what your trees, berries, and shrubs are like.
This was our first year buying a live Blue Spruce Christmas tree. It is about the same size as your tree. I too added lights and Christmas ornaments. After the New Year we planted it in our football size garden in front of the house. I think for years to come we will decorate the tree with food for the birds. 🎄😀 I also have a couple large baskets that you placed the tree in. What’s neat is how they can be folded down when you don’t need to use the handles. StitchedbyMimi

I can knit socks, hats , scarves etc but have never ever blocked an item and I am anxious to see if that is what you show us next. If not, maybe it’s an idea for a future podcast??? Oui??? A blissful few minutes spent with tea and curled up with my dog watching while the rest of the family sleeps (early morning here in the U.K.), this is such a treat, I didn’t purchase a yarn advent but your vlogmass is the best advent calendar. isnt it so strange seeing a huge store like Ikea almost empty! Marcell did a very good job overseeing the decorating! Nicole I have some tunic tops like yours but have trouble finding pants, do you have a good source for buying pants to go with the linen type tunics

Honestly, I usually just make a bunch in linen or cotton using Sonya Phillip's (100 Acts of Sewing) Pants No. 1 pattern
