Kudos to GInvest in opening the doors to millions of Filipinos who want to start investing! Personally though, I wouldn't put my money into those sector-specific feeder funds like tech or consumer equities whose past performances can be misleading. Always best to invest in diversified funds! Para, when one sector crashes, di mo masyadong mararamdaman since you have money in other sectors as well. That's why index funds (global, local, or foreign MFs/UITFs/ETFs) are still the best for me ;) Hopefully GCash adds more funds from ATRAM! Afaik, meron din kasi sila mga ganyan :)

Kudos to GInvest in opening the doors to millions of Filipinos who want to start investing! Personally though, I wouldn't put my money into those sector-specific feeder funds like tech or consumer equities whose past performances can be misleading. Always best to invest in diversified funds! Para, when one sector crashes, di mo masyadong mararamdaman since you have money in other sectors as well. That's why index funds (global, local, or foreign MFs/UITFs/ETFs) are still the best for me ;)

Hi! I have been investing since I was 16. You can ask your parents to set up an ITF/"In trust for" account for you which you could change the name when you turn 18. This can't be done on Gcash tho but you could ask in your preferred bank.
