i dont mean for you to read a novel but here's some answers to some of your questions + extra info: 1. you were right that the second verse of "WAR TIME ALL THE TIME" is ruby. he gets his influence from both punk and hip hop. he was in a band as a teenager, and even has some pop punk projects under "DUCKBOY" that he released last year. 2. $uicideboy$ own their record label G59 with ramirez. night lovell, shakewell, germ, and chetta are signed to their label. $uicideboy$ isn't a group (just the duo ruby and scrim), but they do collab with the artists on projects. for example, germ collabs with $b under all the "DIRTYNASTY$UICIDE" projects you saw. there's three, and i would recommend them if you plan to go through more projects. 3. there's 5 "I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding My Heel" EPs now. if you give another one a listen, i would highly recommend "I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding My Heel (III)". it has two of my favorite samples by the duo. the title is also a reference to the story of achilles heel. 4. they haven't made a song, but lil wayne brought them on stage in 2017. i'm not sure if you know, but they each have solo projects. scrim's projects are under his alias "scrim", and ruby's is under "duckboy". for the next album, i'd say give eternal grey a listen. i want to die in new orleans and eternal grey are often tied for what fans consider to be their best album. my heart will handle what my liver can't is amazing too. i highkey want you to listen to it first, but objectively eternal grey is better. my heart will handle what my liver can't would be a good chapter to open after listening to this album though
They have so many alias it’s crazy.. “oddynuff” is one of rubys older ones. Suicideboys also produced 2 albums for juicy J that are naaaaaasty. $B, Ramirez, and pouya continually fight for a #1 spot on my favorites list!
Scrims verse in coma is probably my favorite in terms of the scene he sets. It’s literally him dying and falling through hell and the way he explains it is so beautiful.
So glad you reacted to this specific album. This part of their lives was no doubt dark, gloomy, mysterious, unforgiving with sprinkles of hopelessness in it. No doubt this is one of my favorite albums from them, and the reason why is because of how everything sounds. I couldn’t imagine if this was their last album made, because it was so unbelievably close to happening. Suicide crossing their mind nonstop, they were like “What’s the point of all of this”. Fun fact: This album was supposed to be called “I Don’t Want To Die In New Orleans” but after their global epidemic tour, they realized they didn’t want all of this fame, then realizing none of this shit matters, and being home is all they wanted, then changing the title to “I Want To Die In New Orleans”.
Everyone’s different I honestly only like 1-2 verses from scrim on this album to me Ruby killed this album and scrim almost ruined it But it’s understandable cause he was so high
i recommend doing shakewell, he’s dope too. If you wanna hear all 3 together you should do the EP “Shameless $uicide”, amazing energy, Shakewell really displaying his talent in that album
I love how you actually put your input and take time to express your perspective when it comes to these artists lives and personal situations. I’mma keep watching these 🔥🔥
Usually Ruby has the more strong voice and does some singing on tracks which is also seen on This Just Isn’t Empirically Possible and $crim mumbles more with a lesser volume than Ruby Edit: Please go back and listen to Long Term Effects of SUFFERING it’s got so many bangers on it 🙏
I highly recommend the “I No Longer Fear The Razor Guarding My Heel” EPs. There are 5 parts with 3 songs each (this album contains Part 4). In total it is about 20 minutes long (not counting Part 4). Part 1 was the one that introduced me to $uicideboy$ and will always be one of my favorites. By the way, I absolutely love your reactions. I like your objectivity and how you state your points of view in a very transparent way. Please keep reacting to $uicideboy$, they have always been SO underrated and you will continue to find gems in their discography. Even though their older projects are quite dark, I think you can appreciate them. Loved the reaction!
another fun fact, after ruby got sober he started talking more about, just recently at a concert i went to he change one of the lyrics from “lucifer please come save me.” to jesus christ please come save me.”im not to sure about ruby but have heard they both of more spiritual now then before. its truly wonderful to see the transformation of ruby and scrim. the albums, eps, etc. after these still have a dark undertone. as you listen you will hear the transformation. also if you havent heard at the end of each show scrim does a little talk about struggling, mental health, drug addiction. its a beautiful speech. ive heard it 4 times now and its truly great to see. keep up the great work love the channel!
This album came out during a really hard time of my life and hearing it reminds me of those times and how I’ve overcome them. Every now and then I’ll come back to this album and it’s nice to remember it.
idk if someone already mentioned it but the sample you like from coma is Much Better Off by Smokey Robinson , specifically from second 0:40 . Scrim has crazy samples , he even has one from monkey island on the song everest.
this was kinda like their breakthrough album (even tho their trajectory has always been upwards). the album was originally supposed to be call I DONT want to die in New Orleans but they changed it to I want to die in new orleans right before release.
SHAKEWELL and GERM are amazing artists, they each have a album/mixtape with the $B’s (both 🔥), germ and shakewell also have a mixtape together that’s gas
Seeing the boys basically go from underground legends to main stream in the past 4 years has been a trip I still remember the days in 2016 listening to them while trying to find weed with the boys 😂
Bro you need to listen to their "I no longer fear the razor guarding my heel" series. Its a series of EPs they made and they are all some of their best music, highly recommend it, the vibe is top tier.
Broo definitely listen to “dark side of the clouds” 100% it is worth it. I think one of their most underrated albums they ever realeased. their beats are so amazing on that album and the features don’t disappoint.
hell yea you should check out shakewell! i highly recommend starting with key stone prince, and if you happen to be interested and i haven't seen anyone say it yet, he used to play bass in a hardcore band called Betrayal. loved the reaction and much love!
This is one of my all-time favorite albums. I can listen to it from start to finish without stopping, skipping, or pausing. I agree with you that this album represents the pinnacle of what Scrim’s chaotic mind and Ruby could create. It was released at the perfect time for me, as I was going through the end of my relationship with my 'wife,' who moved out of state with our child. The anger, disappointment, and confusion I felt during that time fit perfectly with the album’s mood, like pieces of a puzzle coming together. Pressing play made all my pain have a sound. Really listening to it now is like opening a dark crypt-inviting me back into how I felt, almost like reopening an old wound. Like the artists, I've grown, and things are much better now. I still struggle sometimes, just like everyone else, but my world is entirely different from when I felt like I wanted to die in New Orleans. If you haven't gone to a live show i highly recommended it. Especially southern shows the crowds go insane.
The fact that Scrim now praises Jesus, makes us realize how in a dark place they where, as well as a lot of us (the fan base), I do found love and light in the path of Christ
I no longer fear the razor is a group of EPs on sound cloud they are separate songs and they are all really good. Last year they released the fifth one and walked out on their grey day tour with the chorus “grey five nine bitch i signed my life away”
Best reaction! Really! I love the way you thoroughly and thoughtfully listened to, analyzed and felt the SuicideboyS album!!! Thank for what you doing, man! Shoutout from Russia, Siberia.
Scrim was in a dark time in this album thats a fact, but i respect it and love it so much. There is so much going on here. I had it on vinyl and would just blast it all the time in high school during that time lol. But I do still love what they did with it. I am glad that he is sober now, but i wouldnt diss on this at all, I think its just art man.
the craziness is when you start realizing change of style from lyrics and how they sound based on the years of release based on being from using to now sober. also the verse on war time all the is ruby. just saw them live in Chicago and ill tell you this albums are great yes but the performance they put on live isnt even close the energy that you feel is just on a different level. You gotta react to High Tides in the Snakes nest and the first song "Diemonds" that beat will get you. Thats a meaningful album i feel like to them thats when theyre truly venting in my opinon
Funny you bring up Mac... this album dropped the day Mac died. I know because I was at their concert that day at the Playstation theater in New York. I remember when the show was over it was so emotional because they played New Faces v2 on the way out and I've never been so happy and so sad simultaneously. Crazy what music can do. This album is a different type of nostalgic for me foreal
I really recommend Gray/Grey that has to be another one of my favorites and if no one said it already Rubys the one that sang that cold verse on 21:52 (ps I love your videos sm I genuinely love your reactions and appreciation for their music🙏🙏🙏)
@@JaKarTVyou gotta listen to gray/grey it’s one of there oldest albums but it’s just absolute peak scrim and ruby. I highly recommend it. Plus you’ll get to hear KirbLaGoop 😂. Love your videos keep up the good work
next time add a time stamp of all the songs and i’ll probabaly like the video, other than that i guess your reactions make me a bit happy and you are rlly expressive lol like ur gonna busst out of joy❤😂
I’m tellin you man YUNGDEATHLILIFE is one of my all time fav albums. First song I ever heard from them in 2015 was LTE showed my dad that song the day after I heard it (he had subs in his truck) and we have been $B fans since. High tide in the snakes nest is a dope album as well rotten and paralyzed in a tropical paradise is in my top 5 songs from them
Another great earlier Album is Youngdeathlillife. Personally I also love DirtyNastySuicide I and II (lots of energy), as well as Greygods I and II (also very dark, but in a kind of different way...). Keep going, love your reactions 💪
I NO LONGER FEAR THE RAZOR GUARDING MY HEEL V is a really good EP they did about a year ago, its really worth a listen, also the YIN YANG TAPES is really something special where they embrace the classic south style of rapping alot more, definitely worth a listen. Any way i love your vids man keep up putting in the work, all love.
The person you like more is Ruby Ruby goes crazy part of the reason he’s so good at flowing and stuff is for a longtime he was a drummer so he’s good at knowing how to hit certain beats and how to match what most people pay attention too (the drums, 808’s)
literally just discovered your reaction to new world depression and loved the video, been listening to these guys for about seven years now and this album one of my all time favs
Im so glad you did your research before listening to this album specifically, it's genuinely one of their best works but they absolutely hate it now 🤣I love the slower songs from the boys, because they delve into topics that are so prevalent in the hip hop scene such as drug use and depression. A lot of artists who discuss this sort of stuff never make it through it (think Juice Wrld, Lil peep, Mac miller, etc) so its so good to see them on the other side now.
I highly recommend the album “radical $uicide” by the $bs, if you love rubys flow and agressiveness in this album then you’ll LOVE that one, songs off the album like “memoirs of a gorilla” and “champion of death” especially. Also highly recommend listening to the “sarcophagus series that they did with rameriez, there’s sarcophagus, sarcophagus II, and sarcophagus III. They’re all amazing and definitely worth listening to
Definitely would love to see some lil peep. I'd start with part 1 which his label just officially released and come over when you're sober part 1 and 2. He doesn't have any bad songs, but my favorite released tracks come from those albums
I don’t understand what they said about New Orleans, a lot of people love them here and I’ve been listening since 2016. went to their first home show and everybody loved it. Been to a few of their shows in NOLA and it always seemed like the crowd loved them. Wish they played here more often, they can put on a hell of a performance.
Also, when I went to their show after releasing I Want to Die in New Orleans I got to meet Ruby but $crim passed out and had to get carried out of the venue. So glad he’s doing better.
here a little late but youve definitely gotta react to long term affects of suffering next. thats the album that got me into them a few years back, think ive got like 6k minutes on ugliest alone 😭
the reaction was dope and if you wanna skip around then “my liver will handle what my heart can’t” will be the one to skip too cause I think you’ll like the song T.R.U
The name $uicideboy$ is because they made a pact if they didn’t make it by 30 they would end their lives cause they felt as if their life was going nowhere. You should definitely check out the razor series they are some of the deepest songs songs like Clyde(razor 3) let you see into past relationships and not even ghosts are this empty(razor v) dive into family issues. A lot of their music have double meaning based on the way people feel you can interpret it many ways. It’s great to see people take interest in the boys and see they are more than what they make themselves out to be. It’s good to start from the beginning from certain points of view to see how far they’ve come it really gives hope that things can always get better no matter what!
You’ll start to notice that the projects before they got sober were a lot darker and less optimistic which I like because their music really shows their improvement with addiction and mental health.
The farther back in their albums you go the darker they get. Stop staring at the shadows was a turning point of their peak addiction and when they finally got sober. After they got sober they stopped with the really dark shit and thats why some people say they were better in 2015 when they were drugged out and had a more grungy style
I no longer fear the razor guarding my heel IV is basically 3 songs all put together cause it's the fourth of the razor tapes. This is still the only one which is left as one track on Spotify but I'm 50% sure they were all supposed to just be one whole audio track (From what I had read while doing some research for a $uicideboy$ related video)
Fun fact, they actually only have 4 albums I want to die in New Orleans Long terms effects of suffering Sing me a lullaby my sweet temptation And new world depression and the rest are just projects/EPs
Bro definitely listen to peep he is a huge icon in the emo rap scene who has such a influence in the short time he was doing his thing and is super unique and talented.
Love seeing $B love… people think they’re trash or cringe but real hip hop heads know they are definitely on the list of being authentic, creative and refreshing in a sea of copycats, plants and BS meme joke crap
You Gota listen to everything, I don’t want to recommend specific ones cause tbh i been listening to them for a long time now and they got me thru a lot in my life, when I was heavily on drugs and even after they have always been there but if you want a really underrated one you should listen to “Dark side of the clouds” first track is my personal favorite it’s beautiful
You need to check out DIRTYNASTY$UICIDE, DIRTIERNASTIER$UICIDE, and DIRTIESTNASTIEST$UICIDE by them. They are EP’s in collaboration with another artist named Germ, they are some of my favorite projects from them.
Shakewell is cool. He doesn’t have any consistent albums in my opinion, but he has plenty of good songs worth checking out. His music videos are the best
Ok if you are going to want to listen to Germ, Ramirez, and Shakewell. I recommend Germ DN$ (1-3) (dirty, dirtier, dirtiestnastysuicide) series with the $boy$ or “Germ has a death wish” solo with some features. Ramirez “PLAYA$ Manual” album easily if not his best or the new one that came out “the warlock and the Gorilla. Shakewell “Pray 4 Shakewell” albums pretty good or “shameless $uicide” with the boys. I will subscribe and like to wait on these hope they helped. (Real fans for G59 like this so he can see) 👌🏼

That’s love 🔥🙏🏾
Great comment about listening to albums in order and knowing some information. It’s really helps a lot especially with sb
heyyy i was just looking last night to see if you dropped this yet!!
Yupp we active 🔥😎
Their "bro Ricky" giving them eulogy is actually BONES, it's cool they get him to do it
i would say to check out eternal grey next
I believe its the first album where they had feat w Pouya, he's amazing
and its a great album overall
Just dropped that 😎
I highly recommend reacting to all the KYS EPs and all the I no longer fear the razor blades guarding my heels
literally just discovered your reaction to new world depression and loved the video, been listening to these guys for about seven years now and this album one of my all time favs
Also, Shakewell has a full album with the boys, Germ has multiple albums with them as well as Ramirez. They're all signed to G59.
Aye that means everything ! Just doing what I love 🙏🏾💯 & they’re legends fr !!
This album is already nostalgic af for me
every album is fire and shows different perspectives
respect...
Keep going
You should check their single called Antarctica (also check some live perfomance of it)
Love the $boys vids🙏
Honestly man I rate ruby’s solo project “duckboy” more of a punk vibe but definitely some unique vocal and lyricism
Yea I gotta hear that!!
finally!!! Been asking for this, one of my fav albums❤
Yea this was fire !!
Bro woke up and decided to bless my feed. Thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻
YUPPPP 🔥🔥🔥
I am now adding all of these songs to my playlist.
😂💯🔥
I highly recommend the album “radical $uicide” by the $bs, if you love rubys flow and agressiveness in this album then you’ll LOVE that one, songs off the album like “memoirs of a gorilla” and “champion of death” especially. Also highly recommend listening to the “sarcophagus series that they did with rameriez, there’s sarcophagus, sarcophagus II, and sarcophagus III. They’re all amazing and definitely worth listening to
ranking the boy$ is gonna be a challenge cause there's so much music hahaha i can't wait to see that video
Yea that’s gon be a longggg vid 🤦🏾♂️😂
Absolute W reaction,loving it
scrim is absolutely top tier among the newer era of producers
Definitely would love to see some lil peep. I'd start with part 1 which his label just officially released and come over when you're sober part 1 and 2. He doesn't have any bad songs, but my favorite released tracks come from those albums
Definitely recommend shakewell, good shit. Signed with $B's G59 record label a couple years back, and the musics just been phenomenal.
whats crazy is scrim made all the beats while on whatever drugs he was on
No cap! Crazy talent!!
So glad he’s doing better.
this album changes of the lives of those who listen to it
here a little late but youve definitely gotta react to long term affects of suffering next. thats the album that got me into them a few years back, think ive got like 6k minutes on ugliest alone 😭
the reaction was dope and if you wanna skip around then “my liver will handle what my heart can’t” will be the one to skip too cause I think you’ll like the song T.R.U
Wait do enteral grey then that album!! My bad
gotta do “long term effects of SUFFERING” next🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Greygods and Greygods II with Ramirez are dope EPs
King tulip beat will always be one of my favorites 😮💨
I been waiting for you to get to this album
Yea this was odee 🔥🔥
shakewell just dropped an ep named “dangerously close” and it’s prolly his best shi he’s released yet. Drop that reaction🙏🏻
Bet ! 🔥💯
U were talking facts when u talked about herbert and sb i fully agree
Yea that def hit me !
The farther back in their albums you go the darker they get. Stop staring at the shadows was a turning point of their peak addiction and when they finally got sober. After they got sober they stopped with the really dark shit and thats why some people say they were better in 2015 when they were drugged out and had a more grungy style
You need to hear all the dirtynastysuicide albums with germ, there are 3
subscribed since seen radiohead album
Ayee that’s love
Lol i know about that CVS lol so happy he is good now🎉
I no longer fear the razor guarding my heel IV is basically 3 songs all put together cause it's the fourth of the razor tapes. This is still the only one which is left as one track on Spotify but I'm 50% sure they were all supposed to just be one whole audio track (From what I had read while doing some research for a $uicideboy$ related video)
Def should listen to eternal grey next, 10/10 album
Just dropped 😎
Fun fact, they actually only have 4 albums
I want to die in New Orleans
Long terms effects of suffering
Sing me a lullaby my sweet temptation
And new world depression
and the rest are just projects/EPs
Bro definitely listen to peep he is a huge icon in the emo rap scene who has such a influence in the short time he was doing his thing and is super unique and talented.
Love seeing $B love… people think they’re trash or cringe but real hip hop heads know they are definitely on the list of being authentic, creative and refreshing in a sea of copycats, plants and BS meme joke crap
It's definitely a top 3 for Sb. Personally, my number one is My Liver Will Handle Why My Heart Can't just for the rawness present throughout.
u guys gotta do Black sabbaths paranoid album ! trust me bro you’ll thank me for it
Remind me beginning of the year bet !!
Those people hating in I know longer fear the razor 4 are the artist apart of their label at the time
22:37 ruby da frickin cherry said that
🐐 🔥🔥
