Ramona not being able to stand might be a slight manufacturing error on that particular statue, because I've got one and she stands no problem. I had a different issue, they put in the wrong extra hands, so I didn't get a 'baseball bat holding hand'. So I had to heat up and bend one of the spare regular hands so she could hold a bat =X
Yes I think it was a manufacturing issue, I was put off a bit by the company because I reached out to them to try and get a replacement and they didn’t help at all they just told me heat it up and spread the legs, which I did and still wouldn’t stand, and then they just told me oh well bye lol
The figures are cool but as you said the lack of articulation of the legs is a miss opportunity when you are making a new line of figures. Also my nitpick...lack of alt heads or face plates and accessories, i don' t think the fans wouldn't mind paying more to see some alt facial expressions and accessories that link the movie, comic or video game. Thanks for the video review especially showing the height comparison since i was wondering how tall they are. The company said that they will announce wave 2 when the 1st wave are shipping so that means soon we will see pre-orders in this month
Yes I feel like there was a lot of missed opportunities, different face plates and leg articulation is my biggest complaints, I hope the line gets better as it goes
I had both on preorder but cancelled Ramona. Big fan of the comic and movie, but for upwards of $40 a pop I was hoping for more articulation and playability. Still getting Scott for the collection but I'm still holding out hope for a full on figure line one day instead of overpriced pseudo statues.
I pre ordered a pair and they on the way to me ( I live in the UK ) Shipping cost an additional £30 and I’m hoping I don’t get stung by customs. All depends on what they declare I guess, never been stung on a Mondo item so fingers crossed 🤞
I’m also in the UK but luckily I got onto this early - I sent a message straight to Bottleneck Gallery on Insta to preorder them and they’re currently in transit to me. So it might be worth trying a DM to them? There are allegedly more characters on the way so definitely worth a keeping an eye on Bottleneck’s webpage. Good luck and I hope you get hold of some!
