I lived for 9 years maybe a mile away from a General Mills plant--I could tell what they were making by what the wind smelled like. Sometimes it was Lucky Charms, sometimes it was Cheerios.
I lived close to a Stroehmann Bread plant and every time you'd drive by, you could smell the bread.

Always loved all the cereal mascots and collect all I can from them. These figures are awesome and I'm hoping they make all the rest of them.
The Count checking out Frank's berries really gave me a monster laughing fit..
I have a weakness for ad mascots so I pre ordered these immediately. This overview just bumped them up higher on my list of most anticipated pre orders for this year. I hope they get to all the General Mills mascots and beyond.
I love ad mascots too, that's why I'm such a big fan of the Funko Pop Ad Icons line.

Stellar packaging! The only creative design choice I would’ve implemented would be bold dotted lines around the large face portrait illustrations Two drive home the clip-out mask homage.

I found these 2 brand new randomly at my job and man I didn't know these were ever made. The packaging is brilliant! I don't want to take them out ...yet, but I searched in yt for reviews and yours was the first to pop up..wow over a year ago. Now that I see what poses you can do with them from your review, I'm so tempted to take them out ..not yet...not yet...great review. Thank you for that.

I personally love the faces. The calm face is before eating the cereal. And the crazied face is after eating the cereal.
I decided mine will be out once a year for Halloween decorations. Makes the holiday more exciting to have figures to pull out and display.
Jada makes some really cool mini figures called Nano Metalfigs. I've got around 200 of them.. mostly Marvel, some DC and other franchises. Not being able to collect as many full size figures as I would like, they really fill the void and they are cheap as hell.

They all have such fun names but I think Boo Berry is my favourite.

My cousin claims BooBerry was her favorite growing up, but I never saw it that often. We shopped at same stores?
I was aware of Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy, but never saw them in StL area? I can only guess cross promotions on package is how I knew of them?
There is/was a "Monster Mash" cereal out this year, combining multiple flavors. I know I sold some, but never saw it on shelf as I raced out door before I was locked in for night. Only one other store had any Monster cereals that I saw, and that's where I got mine.
I want to say Frank had red nails growing up, but the strawberries are a newer addition? News to me his body IS a strawberry!
For display, I would have the second heads out, standing in front of the still in boxed heads.
They both look goofy good. Now where are the rest??
btw, I'm not sure who is publishing it, but a Hallowe'en comic has a story this year about a town burning Count Chocula at the stake before a "Man of Oats" Quaker steps in to defend him. Apparently, this comic is a yearly tradition, now?
Boo Berry was ok. I live in Michigan and a lot of the smaller grocery stores like IGA kept it in stock. The bigger chain stores would sometimes have it. Although I do recall it being in every grocery store up until about 1984/1985. After that it was always at smaller stores. Fruity Yummy Mummy was good. They stocked it in my area pretty heavily in the late 80's when they were promoting their new product. The commercials were quite popular too. Fruit Brute was the one I didn't know about until 2013 when they brought back all 5 old school boxes. I bought them and saved the empty boxes. From what I can tell Fruit Brute and Fruity Yummy Mummy are pretty much the same. Fruit Brute was the 70's and real early 80's (discontinued in 1982), and Fruity Yummy Mummy was like '87 or '88 - 1992. Same cereal, different mascot.
Great review Robo! These look like a lot of fun. I vividly remember the commercials growing up but to this day have never had any of those cereals, lol. The commercials were always fun though.

Really enjoyed the comprehensive "breakdown" 😆 of Count Chocula & Frankenberry....seems to be well- represented toy figures...evokes memories of pajama-clad Sat mornings watching Bugs Bunny Roadrunner Hour & Johnny Quest while eating the monster cereals 😊....still don't understand why General Mills didn't bring back their "oat" texture recipe, especially for the monster cereals 50th anniversary- it tasted so much better 😢
I love these. I'm gonna need a whole mess of cereal box characters in plastic form. Hopefully someone makes a hyper articulated Count Von Count too.

I've seen that they now have a Boo Berry figure available as well for purchase..I have both Frankenberry and Count Chocula that I purchased about a year ago for 19.99 a piece. 🕷️🕸️🤘👍😁
I love these figures, only thing I wish they did was at least make Boo Berry apart of this set. My shelf is missing my favorite Monster lol

Jada toy's probably probably being the key word here probably got the okay to use the monster cereal mascots likenesses for the toy's before making them as a way to avoid getting a lawsuit on them

If I came to you with a big ol bowl of lucky charms and you was like naw man, I’ll have corn flakes instead. THAT is suspect as hell. At least to me it is. So much so that if I had a cereal party at my house and a friend invited his friend, which I didn’t know, and that person said they dont like marshmallows in cereal. I would tell my friend to not bring him around me anymore.

No idea these were a thing. May have to get the Frankenberry one for the wife. Its an annual thing that around this time I get her a box of Frankenberry cereal as its her all time fave. Got her a pop of him, so might as well get the action figure too.
I've never had a figure i thought i had to keep in packaging until this one the legs sucks and the whole thing feels like it'll snap any second. Looks nice tho.

Great review ,these figures remind me of the Rankin Bass figures used for the holiday specials from the 60's and 70's shows .Love the cereal from back in the day. Got these on order from Entertainment Earth . Must review my assessment of Robo though, i mean how could you not like cereal with marshmallows ,very suspect .

Appropriately seasonal timing with this review Robo. I managed to have some of that myself with finding the NECA Kessler Wolf last week on Amazon which arrived yesterday. You know, the werewolf from An American Werewolf in London, that film that you've.. totally... seen...*sigh*

and we just had a She-Ra in the MOTU Origins line. I managed to snag one.
The OG MOTU line not only had a She-Ra subline, but it had at least two knock offs, Golden Girls (no, NOT Bea and Betty!) and another one that often pop up on the AFID fb pages.
