  • How to set and enforce healthy boundaries to deal with a woman’s mockery and condescending attitude.
    In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a 48 year old viewer who has been married to his wife for 23 years and has 2 kids, ages 16 and 11. He admits that he stopped dating and courting his wife. However, the reason why he stopped dating and courting her is because as they’ve gotten older, she’s gotten meaner, nastier and more disagreeable. He wants to know how to deal with his wife’s mockery and condescending attitude.

    My mom went through an early menopause and at times she wasn't the most pleasant person to be around. Sometimes she would snap at my dad (who was my hero - a Marine Sgt in WWII). He would respond to her in a semi-lecturing tone..."I don't speak to you in that fashion and I expect the same from you". She would stop and apologize. It must have worked as they were married until he passed at age 95 just 3 weeks shy of their 70th anniversary.

    It would suck if you're married to someone who mocks you.

    Had a girl mock me in the past…turned a blind eye because I was afraid to ruffle feathers. Then she started getting comfortable with doing it in front of others, including other men. I got frustrated but that was my fault for allowing it the first time. We eventually broke up. Ever since, if they do it the first time…I always check it appropriately when it happens right then and there, and it never happens again. You teach people how to treat you.

    I doubt she started being like that over night. Most guys see the signs in the beginning and their sexual attraction forces them to ignore the red flags. You draw the boundary when she initially crosses it, when she crosses it again then it’s time for her to go. Stay Focused!

    Had a similar situation with my now-ex - my dog is epileptic and had a couple of seizures already on a Saturday (3+ in a day constitutes an emergency). So while we were out with friends that evening, I opened my doggy cam to check on him, and my ex slammed my phone on the table. Bad enough already, but I told her something wasn’t right and I wanted to check on him. She proceeded to storm out, threw a tantrum, and berated me the entire drive home about how I always put my dog before her. Maybe that’s how she felt…but I saw no compassion for a sick dog who needs special attention. This was all around midnight, by the way, when the night was about over anyway. That was about the turning point of the relationship and was mostly downhill from there.

      @@kellygreenii She had a few moments like that, that popped up around the same time out of nowhere. And this was shortly after she was praising how much more in love she was with me - that I had become the perfect boyfriend emotionally, physically, spiritually, and sexually. So I was just stunned and in absolute disbelief. Really sucks...but onward and upward. I'll keep an eye out for those red flags in the future.

    • @HawaiianKong
      @HawaiianKong ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kellygreenii Yep...that feels about what happened to my relationship - she initially appreciated the increased efforts, but it all eventually seemed to turn her off. She did have an interesting family situation: Her dad walked out on the family as she was starting college, and her mom has been living with her ever since (for almost 20 years). She also told me up front that she was a very bad communicator, and she would occasionally comment on how appreciative she was that I was patient with her and tried opening her up. But ultimately those are red flags that I ignored because she was an attractive Brazilian woman...which I seem to have a thing for. Oh well

    I saw a chick that was all lovey dovey out and about when my band was playing. I developed feelings and moved in.
    It was like she became another person. Insults, talked to me like I was an idiot all the things Bob is going through. Me - I was simply incredulous.
    Six weeks in I walked. I guess her true self emerged.
    I'll simply not take that shit no matter what.

    I appreciate Corey setting the differences on how to deal with certain scenarios when one is in a relationship/dating and while they are married with/without kids. Including this one because those kinds of women can be handful to deal with especially when it’s in a catch 22 scenario.

      Yeah it Might be, unless this scenario happens- they’re the ones becoming more mature and realizing positive productive things like self respect like in this video and demanding it while the other person is still stuck in their old ways of being immature and negative, I feel like people are suppose to change the further they go, realize who they are and want to be and recalibrate themselves in their lives. Might be good to ask yourself- were you the one that was bettering and changing for the better or the one left behind?

    I have a Gf that I’ve been with for 5 years. She has been at a 9 to 10 Attraction level most of the relationship. But for the last while she seems to be at a 6 to 7. She’s less infection I don’t see a has big of a smile. She is still nice and respectful and a great girl. But for me I need to see that high level of attraction for me to love the relationship still. I date and court her but feel she’s just not as into me even though I’m still applying what’s in the book. I’ve read the book 15 or more times. She’s incredibly busy in her life with her kids but she use to make the time more for me when it was important to her. So I haven’t been perfect but I’m constantly trying to stay in the mindset of 3% man. If the interest level for her is gone even though I love her even though she’s nice to me I feel like I should MoveOn. I need some Advice

    • @HawaiianKong
      @HawaiianKong ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I went through almost the same thing just recently, except I was with my ex-girlfriend for 15 months, and instead of kids she coached/played volleyball. She went from a 9-10 attraction level to a 5 in a short amount of time, and started complaining that she didn't see me enough...but would also pack her schedule with coaching, playing, and seeing friends. It was so bizarre. *Looking back, here's what I wish I had done - tell her that you're not feeling any effort on her part, and if that doesn't change, you're going to walk.* She's probably going to walk anyway, so you have nothing to lose. Except if she initiates the breakup, you're going to be absolutely miserable, so it's better to get a grip on it NOW. At worst, you'll have the upper hand in the breakup and she'll feel rejected and miserable. At best, she'll change her tune and respect you and your boundaries again. PLEASE DO THIS!

    FAMILIES WORLDWIDE NEED GOD AND GOD’S LAWS
    Whatever situation we tolerate,we will never change.The woman does not need just dating and more money and attention.She needs to know GOD and to fear GOD who created the MALE and FEMALE.No one knows the MALE and FEMALE except the MANUFACTURER we call GOD OUR Father in HEAVEN.Just take the example from the BIBLE.Eve was already in the GARDEN OF GOD and had everything but still she chose to focus on a fruit that GOD forbid to eat.She listened to the suggestions,proddings,lies of satan,the devil.EVE had it all but it seems there are billions of women out there who are insatiable.Let her attend BIBLE Class to know the MIND OF GOD and to know the punishment for people who use their mouth to abuse people and this is punishable by ETERNAL DEATH according to the BIBLE.
