Your future is as bright as a LED lamp, my friend. Entertaining SIM Racer, Retro Racer, big boye and absolutely ascended. Many could wish a life like yours, mate.
It isn't exactly like that. Yes, the skills you learn in sims will carry over to real life after some short practice. Like knowing how to take a line, knowing how the car responds to certain inputs or just simple things like shifting gears. But a person who has no other experiences with driving other than simracing would rarely just be able to jump into a car and be fast let alone drive it without any instructions at all. You kind of need to have experiences from real life as well for that to be the case.
I actually did find myself perfectly counter steering an unexpected slide in my NA miata when I first got it 4 months ago. It felt great. It definitely played a part in the fact that I got in the car and drove it manually without any major problems. Got it smooth within a few days after never driving stick before. I did underestimate the feeling of using a clutch because of my t500rs pedals not really being able to simulate it that much. And the gated shifter feel was different than I thought it would be. Since I did that first slide I'm throwing it around hairpins all the time now.

I can say that it is really hard to compare the real thing and a sim, especialy without spending days, weeks and months doing both.
