My family’s farm caught fire when I was a kid, it was only 20+ acres but I can’t still vividly see and smell the burnt debris. Thank you for sharing this video. And yes, you need to do a return video on the progress of the new growth.
It's sad it happened but like you said it helps rejuvenate the forest floor...it'll be interesting to revisit over the next few springs to see the rebirth... Kudos to the emergency personnel that put the fire out.
Great video. Looked very similar to what I saw on Blue Mountain, except for the homeless encampment. What are the odds we both put out After the Fire videos at the same time? I liked the additional footage you put out with the news stories. I'm just thankful noone was injured in either of these fires and no property was lost. The fire crews did tremendous jobs getting these under control as fast as they did. Kudos to them.
@@travelingRonman great minds think alike! I was filming this yesterday while you were dropping yours. While I was hiking I thought about Lehigh Gap and wondered if it was even officially out yet. Good to see it is. Thanks for watching, Ron!
I wondered if anyone would have a fire aftermath video. That was something else. Most of the trees are still standing,so thats a good sign. I can imagine the smell. Maybe in late summer you could go back and see whats come up.

Not far from us here near the Lebanon/Berks County line.
