Looked up the HP, seems like the F-150 Coyote is different than the Stang’s Coyote, but still has great specs to start a build with!

Just saw the thumbnail on your video Dom, was the ‘1,000 HP Sleeper’ click bait? I know that Coyote engine looks stock and no way near 1,000 HP! Maybe ‘tuneable’ to that lofty HP?
1. Get it tuned by Lund. 2. If you're going boosted, get a midnight performance built 10r80 transmission. 3. If going turbos, don't cheep out. DON'T BUY a "On 3 turbo kit." Go midnight performance or Aldo welds turbo kit. 4. Go with Fore innovations fuel system, regardless of whether you go turbo or supercharger.

i'm very new to the car scene. my very first car was a 1989 mustang with a 302 5.0 that i got when i was in High school about 13 years ago. unfortunately it's just sitting in my Dad's shop collecting dust and dead. this video has honestly got me thinking about starting a project up with my Dad. we work on Diesel big rigs but I think is is something we would both thoroughly enjoy and will get us some good bonding time. So the two options were whipple and turbo. But what about procharged? That would be pretty unique. I’ve never seen it done personally 🤷🏻♂️ either way I’m excited for whatever happens

Centrifugal Superchargers are not the best option for heavier vehicles. Like a turbo, Procharger's boost output increases with rpm and they just don't add a lot of power off idle or at lower rpm. A roots supercharger, like a Whipple, is a much better choice for a heavier vehicle as they make near instant boost and really help heavier vehicles move faster instantly, rather than gradually. Paxton, Vortech and Procharger gained popularity on lighter sports cars in the late 80s and throughout the 1990s as they fit under hoods and responded well to cars that already had decent stock power and launch capabilities.
I would have to dispute that. A Procharger does the same thing as a supercharger. They both provide boost as soon as you start to accelerate. You get even more boost from a Procharger because it's regulated by a wastegate and a bov. Prochargers can build as much as 25psi of boost. I had one on my 09 F150 with the 3valve 5.4L and easily made 600hp to the rear wheels with 11psi of boost. Too bad the lower end can't take much more than that like the Coyote can.@@Fmandan77

The best way to race is to leave it in drive and and hit the - button to drop to the gear you want and when you step on it you have to quickly hit the + button a bunch of times so it can shift through the gears on its own
