I thought he should lower the blade guide on that band saw, and wear eye protection, ear protection and foot protection, but I guess he won't be doing any of that anytime soon.
It amazes me how these guys can do all this work in flip flops and be fine covered in wood chips yet I get a piece of toenail sticking me in my sneakers and it's the end of the world.

OK,OK, I know all of you western world wood workers, want nothing more than to criticize the safety procedures that are not being followed. How fortunate for you that you can afford all the luxuries of safety, that they cannot. It must make you all feel so superior. Good for you.
Come on, safety glasses are $.99 and a guard is no big deal. No, it doesn’t make anyone feel superior, but we saw too many children die from accidents with machines to actually take some small steps.
It is not a matter of any feelings of superiority, it's about concern for their safety. Things can go wrong in a fraction of a second. These workers could lose a hand or an arm or an eye in an instant. How would they feed their families if that were to happen? The owners of these unsafe factories make millions yet won't even provide the most basic safety gear. It's fucked up. Can't you see that?
Nuevamente felicidades excelente por este excelente trabajo, gracias por mostrarnos su destreza para el tratamiento y transformación de la madera felicidades
Beautifully done! That half-lap, and mortise and tenon joinery takes a lot of skill, planning, and forethought on a piece this size! . And what's crazy is that 8/4" custom hand made Door jamb and transom probably still cost less than a 3/4" factory-made piece here in the US where quality and craftsmanship has gone to sh!t.. and I love that shoes are optional!
My love

I heard very good opinions about the Woodglut plans.
Thank you Tomeka!
The blade guide should be lowered to just above the timber for safety and accuracy

Muy buen trabajo excelente felicitaciones
Extreme idea used by this product.I am from India, Maharashtra, WARDHA.
Dropping the guard down to one inch above wood being cut reduces the flex of the blade.
I actually paused the video to look at the comments. I thought surely someone has already mentioned that!

The guides on that bandsaw could do with being closer to the timber being cut.

Good for you.
If they can afford a mortise machine, they can afford a mask and safety glasses!
@@michaelnelson9140 They don't own the machines, their bosses do. They can barely feed their families.
