Yeah, the viola doesn't get a lot of love and attention. The viola is such a beautiful instrument. It has a beautiful, warm sound and deserves to get more notice. I actually prefer it over the violin any day. I don't even play viola. I play piano, but I just love the viola a lot. lol

Is it a fun instrument? I think viola lessons are very rare, are they? I'm looking for an instrument that has a nice, low and warm sound. A piano is nice, but can't be taken around a campfire. Is the viola a hard instrument?
I find the viola a fun and hard instrument. You can consider playing the cello, but that's probably harder to lug around to campfires. I currently take viola lessons from a violinist- many violin teachers also do viola lessons

@@leikaehr6286 I didn't know Violin teachers did Viola lessons! That's awesome! The viola deserves much more love and attention than it gets, honestly. I had a friend in high school who played the viola. I wonder if she still plays it.

That was absolutely beautiful. My Neighbor Totoro is a movie that's deeply rooted in my childhood, and listening to this incredible rendition of the song made me nostalgia hard. It honestly brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely amazing.

For my 22nd birthday, one of the gifts which I asked my father to get was My Neighbor Totoro on blu-ray. ^_^ Can't wait to watch it with the family. Both my parents and me for awhile never got into Studio Ghibli movies. I'm glad to have given their movies a try and now I shall introduce them to my parents. and they will like!

Even though the video sometimes glitches I still absolutely love this video. The little mononoke part. At 1:21 I think there's another totoro or something on the ground. It is just beautiful and so are you :) Well done! I would like to see more videos from you that are styled like this one.

I didn't watch my neighbor Totoro till about a year back and I boy was I missing out! I recently watched Princess Mononoke as well and that snippet of the main theme was so well incorporated! Perhaps one day you might think of doing a full version of that. But for the moment! Thank you again! It's always just so amazing hearing pieces that mean so much to me, on my favorite instrument.
