Bedara Kannappa (1954): Rajkumar himself starred in the Telugu version titled Kaalahasti Mahatyam (1954) in his only non-Kannada appearance. It was remade in Hindi in 1955 as Shiv Bhakta starring Shahu Modak. The movie was also remade in Telugu in 1976 as Bhakta Kannappa starring Krishnam Raju.
Kantheredu Nodu (1961): It was remade in Malayalam in 1965 as Kavyamela starring Prem Nazir and in Tamil in 1968 as Devi starring Muthuraman.
