[MHWI PC] Kulve Taroth - Bow

This is just a showcase of the new Fatalis bow, insanely strong. I think bow can sub 6 Kulve Taroth now. However I hate this monster and the RNG is too heavy.
I am not pleased with this run at all but I did not want to invest time in it

Fatalis gear so strong it actually made Bow against Kulve actually decent

Actually bow has always been good against kulve. Its just no favorable in the siege because the only damage youre putting out is on the head and you need to break parts. Once the horns are chipped, I am able to do 100 on the last charge of bow to the horns.

​@@BeingOne2you mean viable yes, good? Arguable. The fight itself makes harder for bow main due to his huge body and the damage. You can fit ee2 to jump away from most attacks, but new players need to sacrifice other essential skills just to fit these skills because bow itself is skill intensive.
That means, you need to be good to survive and consistently dealing damage while not getting hit with trash gear, and your damage is still shit due to terrible hitzone anyway.
Other weapons need less skills, means more room. Melee could tank more damage and they also can fit ee2 to jump away from most attacks.
Other weapons are simply safer and easier to use against him, and vastly better hitzone too.

No not really, it's best vs elemental resistant monsters like Ruiner, Zinogre, Velkhana etc.

Depends on what you mean significant. There are *some* monsters where fatalis bow will get outdamaged by 10-15% but they are relatively few.

Think you'll attempt some Alatreon runs now as well? I feel with the shaver deco you wont need to spam tenderize so much could probably get that sub 6.

I’m not using shaver but i use the fatalis bow lol. Its so good on alatreon. I will sub 6 both ice and fire in the upcoming weeks

How do you tenderize the monster in one shot like that? I always have to do it twice

The new shaver decoration allows light weapons to tenderize in 1 and get slinger ammo.
It also lets heavy weapons get slinger ammo which they couldnt do before.
It's in the top slot on his DragonBarbs A+

I know meta sets are meta for a reason, but do you think that this gear and bow hurt the creativity for bow builds since you should probably focus raw damage over element? Or would elemental builds still be viable in certain situations?

This bow is only good in raw matchups with alatreon and kulve idek if it would beat nergi since nergi has such good blast status. But regardless a must have in the weapons collection

No, it's just that KT hitzone sucks, and before that you had to use the low elemental hitzone on the arm. Fata bow is so strong that you can use chest for raw damage and it wins

Using the « shaver » skill. It allows to tenderize in 1 hit with any weapon
