8Bomb Custom pUs - The John Sykes Set

I was in Linz at the www.sam-music.at shop. I brought the 8Bomb Custom Pickups John Sykes model with me. It was an "easy" change haha. But see it in the video...

I prefe the 8 bomb Sykes set to the montys. 🤘 8 bomb are so close the the old P.A.F's , he really unlocked the mojo when making his pickups.

These sound more than good, i love pups that sound nice and thick but dont muddy up or have that close pin on the nose sound! These are killer pups and im sure they are pricey!

... so so - beim SAM Music / Samhaber Fritz hier bei uns in Linz bist du gewesen - na das wenn ich gewusst hätte, da wäre ich gerne dabei gewesen! ... Hab über die Jahre etliche Gitarren bei ihm gekauft - und auch er hat mir schon einige abgekauft ... PUs klingen gut - vor allem in den höheren Lagen die singenden Sequenzen kommen gut!

The first set... of Montys perfectly suited the archetypical sound of a grainy Les Paul. Something was lost in the replacements.
Better to go back in time than progress to a uncertain future...haha.

I'm pretty sure John Sykes used Gibson Dirty Fingers pickups back in the day. I have some Dirty Fingers loaded into an old SG. I'd really like to try these! 8Bomb?

@@Biblrocks J'ai fait la même chose que vous sur ma les paul de 2012, de bon micros qui chant bien .Du coup je change que les aimants par des ALNICO 4 cher craizy parts, pas cher 8,95 euros , sur mais guitare sa sonne bien les alnico 👌4. je suis surpris par c'est aimant sa vaux le coup. 👌🎸
