This title literally sums up my parents walking into my room seeing me jammin to this ost
honesty brother

I'm surprised Planet Robobot didn't go with the usual "capitalism is destroying the environment and we need to protect the forest" aesop, but rather "A father lost his daughter, and a daughter lost her father. But who really lost who? The truth is, they lost themselves."
This track made me think of that.
To be honest, President Haltmann’s full name is Maxx Profitt Haltmann, and he rides a golden mech that shoots money onto your screen, and is the CEO of a company which destroys planets for resources.
It is still that plot, but I like how the underlying theme is the different attempts at prosperity. In Haltmann’s attempts at achieving it, he ended up ruining the chances for it for everywhere he mechanized, and Star Dream held the idea of prosperity only being achievable if nobody is left to ruin it, but the one place with real prosperity was Popstar filled with resources and just a bunch of chill little guys. In order for the HWC to achieve prosperity, it had to take away the prosperity held by others, creating a paradoxical loop of unreachable prosperity similar to Haltmann’s wish for his daughter to be returned to him. I like Star Dream a lot because it feels what a real rogue killer robot would be. Not some mindless monster or thing who wants to control everything, but a computer who attempted to find the best and most effective way to solve problems, but in doing so came to the conclusion that in order to solve those problems, the people who created the problems or will create the problems must be eliminated, and everybody in the universe falls under that category. I can’t help but feel bad for the robot, it’s one goal was the best for everybody but the only way to achieve that is if there is no everybody to interrupt the best for everybody.
