No matter how many times I hear Come Together, I’m always blown away by the sheer musicianship of it. The band is just so in the pocket for the whole thing. Not many edits, mostly just the band playing live in the room. I guess some people can’t appreciate just settling into a groove.
Ive seen a lot of reaction videos of the beatles music and i must say that i found yours very refreshing. It feels honest when you both praise and critisize the songs. Its childish of some beatle fans to expect praise all the time. My reaction to not agreeing with you on some songs was to laugh because i found it refreshing and i knew some fans would be pissed
18:07 the wind sound effect was made by George Harrison using a Moog synthesizer, plus the song was cut at the very end because Geoff Emerick did at John Lennon's request!
I am 75. I have listened to tons of music. What I have learned over time is that many songs I love on first listen get tedious pretty while some that I didn't like so much immediately became better and better as I listened to the more. You started listening in 2019. You need a bit more musical maturity to get it. This is not a put down. You are a product of your time and as you age I hope you venture more into music of the late 60s to mid 70s. If you approach it open mindedly without preconceptions I believe you will find it an enriching journey.
It's interesting watching someone meh something I love. It's OK. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I'm learning about you. I already know the album.
I like your honesty when it comes to The Beatles. You’ve even criticized Radiohead before. Which says a lot since it is a band you love. It’s very cool to know Radiohead love the Beatles and they were influenced by them, especially on Ok Computer.
A couple of things to share. 1. Originally, Side B was supposed to be Side A of Abbey Road and vice versa meaning Here Comes the Sun was the opening track until very late when they decided to make the change which put Come Together first. It also would have put I Want You (She’s So Heavy) as the closer with the Moog generated white noise and the hard ending as the close to The Beatles last LP. 2. George Harrison plays bass on Oh! Darling. 3. Maxwell’s Silver Hammer is a light little ditty about a serial killer. You miss that on the first listen.
I don't normally react to live performances for videos, but I do livestreams on Sundays and Wednesdays where viewers can send in music for me to listen to for free
Always love when someone uneducated tries to critique professionals of their art….they’re considered some Of the greatest musicians for a reason brother😭
There's a Beatles´ album for every taste. My favourites are The White Album, Revolver and Sgt. Pepper´s… By the way, some of their singles are also fire.
I appreciate your honest take on the album, but it feels like when you talk over the entire album, I don't get the sense you're even listening to it. I don't expect you to necessarily like what you're listening to, but you can't judge it if you aren't really listening. Just my 2 cents.
I like covering a variety of quality, but there's definitely some stuff I've hated. There's tons of videos on my channel on projects I don't like (Imagine Dragons, AJR, Oasis, etc.), I just like balancing it with stuff I'll probably end up enjoying too.

Oh, he likes the first site. He even gave Octopus's garden a 9.8. I would never rate it nearly as high. I would also rate Something lower and Come together higher. By the way, Sgt.Pepper is by no means the first concept album, there've been some before in other genres. The Beatles made the principle of the concept album very popular and this also applies to other areas. The Beatles didn't reinvent music. They very often took ideas and combined them with their own ideas, often in really great ways. And it's still true today, that if it says Beatles on it somewhere, it has a signal effect and other artists take their cue from it. What do you mean by units? The number seems a bit too high to me.
Ask any Musician or Artist that you can think of. The Beatles were and are the most influential band across the Earth that you are living in, Past Present and likely Future. Learn how to play an instrument. It's the difference between someone who likes cars and someone who is a master mechanic. Dig? Or is it too shallow?
I've been playing drums for years and my opinion remains the same, this album is amazing. I don't get why people see me giving the album a 9/10 and assume I don't like it.
Hahah, you are talking about the sound? it was 50 years ago! 😂😂 OMG really??that was pure innovation … Maybe you should try reggaeton 😂😂.. you lost me in the first song 🤷🏻♂️ ..
@@humanreviewsstuff Not true. Some of us watched the whole damn thing, and watched you trash music written by musical geniuses because you are musically ignorant. Listening to you judge this music so harshly after hearing it for a minute or two was nauseating! If people are only listening to you judge one or two songs and turning the channel…that’s a problem for you! The people watching you react to Beatles music are HUGE BEATLES FANS who have been studying their music and the stories behind each song, and the details of its production for 60 years! Your ears cannot comprehend everything it is hearing the first time. If you knew that, you would also know it isn’t fair to the song to make such quick judgments on this band’s songs. And you say almost NOTHING about the lyrics. My God! Watch the Rob Squad Reactions channel. They are both educators, and they made over $400,000 last year by reacting to this music. They were raised on hip hop music and one heard some 80’s music while growing up. They only stop the music just once, halfway through to talk about it. They have learned from the comments about each song and these bands. They try to figure out why the song was such a big hit…what did people LOVE about the song? Your audience isn’t going to suggest shitty music for you to react to.

Two singles were released from this album: Something which is the 24th #1 single and Come Together the 25th #1 single bro in case you didn't know.
Don't worry if you don't feel what others feel about any song or album. Music is subjective. What moves one person, doesn't necessarily move another.
She is so heavy sounds like early SABBATH for real

100% agree John, this guy is not informed enough about 60s 70s UK music. Waste of time really.
@weepair2 not a waste of time. You tried to contradict what he said whilst agreeing with him 😂

Harrison has the best solo album of them all. Definitely check it out because it’s 🔥.
Uh no he doesn't
Octopuses’ Garden is where the relative lighthearted quality of the early career meets the expertise in musical production of their late career.
bro the album has 55 years old try to put some context to the studio tech
I'm not a big fan of come together either, but DAMN! You got a terrible attention span 😂
🤣

The bass on Oh Darling was played by George
And Maxwell's Silver Hammer, and "Golden Slumbers"
Vinyl records can't hold much more than 47 minutes.

You should do a full on beatles discography reactions, they are always popular and pretty interesting
So, the second side is actually the side we were all drawn to. You will get there hopefully
