    I love this video. I decided to use the latch hook canvas instead of the non slip pad. The canvas is harder to use because of it being so stiff but I figured it might hold up better in the end and I then can put it over a nonslip rug pad. Thank you for this tutorial.

    I love your videos, I always feel as if you and I are having a conversation. Pom poms aren't my thing (at all) but I watched the video anyway because you held my interest. I learned some new information whether I ever utilize it or not, so thank you, Ma'am.

    What a great idea!!! You could use clothes pins, clips for paper, or something similar to hold your edges together for when you are drawing your circle or cutting it. When I need to replace my throw rugs, I hope I remember to look for this video. Thank you for sharing!!!

    Thanks for the great tutorial! I have a question. I’ve started crocheting and it’s starting to pucker. Do you think I’m stitching to tight or should I skip a few extra holes in the rubber mat? Thanks!

    I made a rectangular bathmat, and the edges are curling. Any suggestions to get it to lay flat?

    Do you have advice on washing the rugs?

    • @mooglyblog
      @mooglyblog  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would recommend hand washing (or very gentle and air dry) as the rug pads are often non machine washable

    How well would this wash in a front loading (not a top loader with an agitator) washing machine do you think?

    • @mooglyblog
      @mooglyblog  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Toni while the yarn is machine washable, the rug pad often is hand wah only

    Tamara, how do you like your Brittany hooks? Watched a video of Marly Bird last night with the Brittany co. They look wonderful and sound very easy to use. Enjoy your tutorials. ❤

    • @mooglyblog
      @mooglyblog  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like them a lot! They aren't "ergonomic" as such, but they feel wonderful and I love the super long even shaft for tall stitches and projects like this where you need a lot of "space" on the hook!

    How do you wash it?

    • @mooglyblog
      @mooglyblog  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Spot clean or by hand. It's not the yarn that's the issue, but the backing isn't machine washable generally - unless you can find one that is!

    Am I crazy...did I miss somewhere how many pompom balls the first took? Looks awesome btw!

    • @mooglyblog

      It's all at the link in the description, but I used 5 balls of Red Heart Pomp-a-doodle to make a 27" round rug. :)
