Recirculating the already cooled air will lead to high humidity (which you must be aware of by now) inside the house. An idea is to build just the cooling mad part on a window, and have a fan on the ceiling pull air into the attic/roof. This way no air is recirculated so you get good cooling without any sticky feeling.
If you are really a Pakistani. I really appreciate your talent and if I were the Primeminster of this country I would have awarded you. Our country needs creative and talented youngsters like you. Government should let them come infront so they can innovate this third world country!

Great how to video some are most of the people posting on here do not realize this was a how to video. I live in a van and have a problem with keeping cool . There's always a hater in the crowd
Good job! congratulations:) I`ll have to make such an air-cooler soon (maybe even a bigger one) but the only problem is the humidity:( Excessive humidity in air is bad for electronic devices.
When I was a young boy my mother used a fan some spanish moss and a garden hose to make an evporative colling unit in the window. It did take the edge off of the heat and it get's pretty hot in south Louisiana.
Nope, it's mostly known as a "swamp cooler" since it _can_ cool the air but that "cool air" comes out at 100% humidity, literally. The cooling effect is *only* possible if the incoming warm air is appreciably less than 100% humidity. Stated another way, you could NOT feel the cooling effect from this on a 95 F day at 98% humidity. Remember, a large portion of the comfortable feeling we get from typical vapor compression air conditioning is due to the reduction in humidity, not the reduction in temperature. A swamp cooler is only useful if operated in a very dry climate - like a desert or Arizona. Oh, wait, AZ _is_ a desert...
Nearly the whole Western half of the United States has dry air in summer, not just AZ. As of typing this it's 36% humidity and 81° F where I live in California. These coolers are recommended for these more arid climates.
Impressive build and very like the evaporative coolers on roofs which brings me to how it could be improved, a much more powerful inline fan could double its effectiveness, add some insulated tubing and put it outside running to a window and its then quite to.
Checking the temperature right in front of the fan is not giving a fair reading... But nice built. I just don't like the high humidity this will bring to the room and it'll destroy a lot of things in the room as well.
Mayor Ushanka The cooling will be very less that way. Most of the cooling in this system is the evaporation effect and you will not have that without the free water.
You said " Yes, destroy leather shoes for example. They will start to grow fungus. Many things don't tolerate very high humidity." and "Even cotton items can begin to grow fungus and things will begin to smell old, so no this is not really such a great idea." Is what you said from experience?
So much work to be done, and your assistant was on a break, he passed by at around 10:58 to check if you wanted any help. xD Amazing piece of work by the way.
In my personal opinion, your DIY Air Cooler is better and well-designed than others. It could be commercialized with the appropriate funding to hit the market. Just a thought! Well done....
Great work! Do you have any written calculations for this kind of Air Cooler? I have the same project and i need the calculations. Thanks for the great video!
Nice work. Please use heavy duty gloves for personal safety which can make others aware of the risks also. The fan could be glued to the body which could have given more finish to the work.
brother JazakAllah Keep doing good work and please next time use your voice in english urdu punjabi anything u can easily speak. great work pakistanis love u all.
that's, very, COOL. but I can't help wondering about rust issues, and that wood fibre in the grates going mouldy. You could use aluminium and fibreglass maybe. You could even build the box out of wood and seal it with resins etc like they do with pools and hot tubs. Regardless I still really dig this channel, get's them DIY juices flowing.
The water is evaporated from the wood matting, the heat for this comes from the air drawn through the matting, therefore the air must get cooler, then ejected to front by fan.
how to select for particular room size ex : 10ft x 12ft celing height is 10ft capacity of water tanker ,pump hp ,fan rpm fan size evaporation time etc... plz thanks

It's basically a mini swamp cooler. Would be great for cooling one room with a window open, very low energy.
When I was a young boy my mother used a fan some spanish moss and a garden hose to make an evporative colling unit in the window. It did take the edge off of the heat and it get's pretty hot in south Louisiana.
Mad sheet metal skills.

i cant do that 😀😀😀
you r an honest intelligent and organised man.. u have explained every thing very nicely. god bless u and your business.
We call them "Swamp coolers" where I come from. They generally only work in dry environments and wont do squat in already humid areas.
I dont undrstand the humid thing. im confuse. :(

Are you worried at all about mold?
well u can have mold with air cooler or huge bill for using expensive air conditioner or sleepless nights if u dont use either. i'd rather have mold.

Is what you say from experience?
+Christos It's common knowledge that you will need evaporation if you want to reduce temperature.

The water is evaporated from the wood matting, the heat for this comes from the air drawn through the matting, therefore the air must get cooler, then ejected to front by fan.

like i want to use this cooler from a mobile charger 12v
There is no 12V mobile charger in the world.
+Learn 4 Earn you will need a 12v 5A power supply.
i have a pump it's rating is 12v dc and power is 8w.
can i make a circuit for this ?
+Learn 4 Earn yes you can. Buy a transformer and connect 2 diode and 1 capacitor. Your supply is ready.
maybe as an upgrade v2, include a peltier module to keep water chilled?
