@@misterfneo8497 no what he meant is elephant can’t run faster or constant speed for more time but it is strong and powerful when at the time when he gets mad (madham pidikum podhu) but due to its weight, gigantic figure and foot structure it is not the animal of speed but horse is born to race and run but its not as strong or dexterous as elephant in starting moments that’s y the physics term itself called horsepower in the 1st place..

Superb!!! Well explained in simple terms. Another example is - say, when you sway (in a swing), you need more torque to initiate your swing (when you start to swing) and you need enough Horse Power (HP) to continue to sway (to and fro) in a swing, and you will need more HP to keep swaying for a long time.

I love coding and enjoying my work everyday.. but now I got convinced mechanical/automobile engineering also fun to learn and work!! Good explanation and good work from u.. Your channel is really useful for budding engineers and auto-enthusiasts... I could clearly understand your explanation and agree with most of the same...
After watching your video and thoroughly enjoying the same. I happen to have few points which in my understanding might add more value to this well explained video.
    1. Let me first point out that your explanation for "Fast" Vs "Quick" terminologies are amazing. However, I would have preferred to use "Pick-up" instead of "Quick". As this would have brought more meaning into your later explanation regarding 1st & 2nd Gears.. (This is my personal opinion and I think the used terminologies as such makes perfect coherence)
    2. You quoted an example of cycle race at the early part of the video. While watching your explanation I found a particular segment which might cause a little misunderstanding. The explaination- "Cycle with higher torque is Faster rather quicker". I would suggest you to maybe add a comment on the video to clarify the confusions if any.
    3. My next point is also in the same segment. In my understanding of these concepts. Cycle race would have been won by the cycle with Higher Power. As Power is basically work/time and race distance is constant so I believe the race to have been won by the cycle with higher power.
Power = Torque x RPM... So as the torque is lower RPM increases to have higher power causing the distance to be reached in a shorter time.

To make easier to teach my students I tell them, To toe a car we need more force in the beginning and after movement the force maintains, same thing with clutch and accordingly matching with gears to maintain the vehicle flow and carry our car body weight. @The Driver Seat : Bro I have 2 doubts for many years.
      1. Imagine that you are driving a car alone. Car will give good response at your each accelerate. Also imagine that you are driving car with 5 peoples and heavy luggage in boot. You can feel the difference that car will not give immediate response when you accelerate, it takes some 15-20 second due to additional weight. Now when I have same weight in my car and I should get same immediate response what I get in empty car, I should have more torque or more power..???
      2. Consider there are 2 cars. Car "A" with 150 bhp@1500 rpm and Car "B" with 200 bhp@1500 rpm. Which will attain highest speed at 6th gear and full acceleration.???

    • @TheDriverSeatGuy
