Hulk was never just an angry guy lmao his story from the very beginning has so much meaning all his hulk forms stems from his persona and a traumatic event from his child hood hulk is honesty an amazingly well made character once you actually look into what he truly represents
Hulk was never a strong angry dude. That said it was preferable when his stories where about the internal battle of Banner/Hulk and occasionally other personalities along your typical superhero fights over weird cosmic beings taking over the Hulk for some reason.
Hulk was never just some really angry strong dude. Hulks power set has actually never changed but instead is played down more than anything else. Read comics and get familiar.

@@chriss.249 Ngl that fight disappointed me just cuz they gave broly lip service and still didn't show off the full extent of his skillset. He's not comparable to the hulk because hes not just some dumb brute. He's an elite Saiyan born from a line of extremely intelligent saiyans that all had above average power. He had some of the best talent buildup out of all the saiyans only really being a close second to Goku and that's solely from a lack of technical skill. He's a smart sadist with the body and the powers of a galaxy busting brute, he should have been compared to world breaker hulk or even the master hulk. That would have been far more fair a comparison, to set him up against a hulk that had both his brain and brawn at his full disposal.
The way TOBA got defeated is hulk basically said "Show me your true self coward" and TOBA was like "Ok. Im actually The One Above All lol."

I do appreciate the route they went in this run. It never quite made sense to me that a radiation monster would be that stupidly strong, especially with a world with magic and gods. I subscribed to the idea that Hulk was potentially the cosmic entity of strength, and this is kind of close to that.

Hulk is a rage monster and his power is that the angrier he gets the stronger he becomes. He has no limit to his rage. I tuned out of Immortal Hulk but apparently whatever force that makes Hulk what he is taps into some extra dimensional force. Sort of like how Flash from DC got his powers artificially but stems from the Speed Force which reaches past a simple mutation. Absorbing man tried to absorb energy from a small tear in reality at ground zero of where Hulk was “born” and almost caused an apocalypse. Also David Banner (Bruce’s Dad) was there for some reason and was basically a demon
@@chriss.249 Caps body was physically altered to the utmost limits of what the human brain and body can achieve, and then was trained to match those skills in wartime. Tbh it's stupid comparing cap to anyone else either tho. He has so much combat experience on top of his uber-natural abilities that most members of lineups will lose to him just straight up from a lack of fighting experience and tactical IQ.

I mean I know we saw it, especially when he went to hell and found out he was coming from there, as well as the one of above all apparently but could he still go the distance I know he has battled against Thor multiple times either coming in a draw or one either knock each other out or becoming friends but I’m just I hate to say it…. I got possible future vibes from it. Like it'd only come to pass of TOAA actually ever decided he'd let his other face have that much impact, and/or if Hulk ever let that much hate into his heart that TOBA could take root in him.
Isn't it like, the future of Days of Future Past/ Bishop or Cable's grim futures for mutantkind just sort of exist in a perpetual ambiguity? Like there's still a chance they could happen but for the most part the various degrees of time travel enabled prevention measures have indefinitely delayed those futures? That's what I think the fates of Franklin, Mr Immortal and the Hulk plagued 9th cosmos are like if that makes sense.
Plus it's supposed to be like, eons upon eons before the multiverse is supposed to be reset. We're talking such an amount of time passing that our real life grey matter minds literally cannot even begin to comprehend the passage of. That is to say, there's plenty of time for things to change, be delayed or even be reverted in the timeline of the current multiverse.
And all that is to say, yeah who knows what series of events is supposed to happen. Could be Leader just got a glimpse at a possible future. Same as if he somehow peered into DofP or Hulk: The End.
So in other words it’s a version of Hulk that’s not even Hulk but Hulk fans will still bring him up as a reason Hulk can beat fill in the blank character smh lol

Y'all a little lost, so let me explain. This is still the Hulk, granted with a power boost, but still Hulk nonetheless. How it's been portrayed and widely accepted is that, TOBA, is the counteracting force to TOAA and possesses Hulk to become Cosmic Immortal Hulk or TOBA Hulk. However, as it's been revealed in the final issue of the Immortal Hulk run, TOBA is not a being himself, but more like that of a "mask" for the darker side of TOAA's power. What was also revealed in the final issue is that TOAA created Hulk to be his counterweight, but seeing as Hulk doesn't naturally have TOAA countering level power, it needs a source. This is basically what TOBA is, a tub of power that's flowing into another, not so much taking over. While it does still infect Hulk and kill Bruce, this is still Hulk. Hulk is already made up of "TOBA's" power anyway, seeing as gamma is directly linked to it. This is just him juiced up, not "possesed." I think better terminology would be gamma over dosage. Sounds like a good comic series ngl.

@@rupeniugavule3479 It's not, TOBA literally says that he "poisons" the mind of people he uses to fight but they are still themselves. So this would be a merged entity in which Hulk still has some level of control.
Rather than a mask, TOBA is just a different aspect of TOAA. TOAA is Love, and TOBA is his aspect of Hate. Same omnipotent god but a different aspect that embodies that god. Hence why TOAA referes to him as a "mask" when explaining it to the Hulk. TOBA is the "Hulk" of TOAA.
Thought this guy was simply a far future version of Hulk that became the Galactus of the new universe.

TOBA Hulk is what Marvel characters feared would happen if left unchecked, [Without Banner at the helm]. Everyone assumed his strength was limitless or had the potential of no finite limit.
This is that potential they were referring to, as Hulk literally became the living personification of The One Above All, wrath. Hulk has always been referred to be many things, but mostly referred to as "a force of nature"

TOBA showed the Marvel Multiverse, what Hulks true potential really is, and this form is what many other characters feared over many decades.

Hulk has always been referred to as a force of nature, with no finite limit to his being. Instead of being fueled by anger and stress, TOBA the shadow of TOAA pushed Hulks body to its peak capability[ties], with Hate.
Actually if I'm remembering it correctly TOBA cannot physically interact with anything in the physical realm, but it can influence actions via a soul. It controlled Banners soul, and it being the other face of TOAA which his weapon is love, TOBA influenced Banners soul with hate as his weapon. Which pushed Hulk body/"shell" to the form we all saw toward the end of Immortal Hulk.
Remember Hulk, doesn't have a soul.

This doesn't feel like a Hulk anymore. I do like the idea where his powers come from unknown place but I don't like the idea that his Gamma Radion is basically Hell.
It's taking Hulk back to his roots since his creation was inspired by old school movie monsters. It's one of the best Hulk storylines in years.

This dude ate Immortal Man, a Prime Franklin Richard’s, and an End of Series Galactus while taking their powers. And then proceeded to eat the new variant of Eternity that creates the new universe. Literally, it’s said that he slow plays everything because he likes to destroy things slowly when he has the power to wipe out universes instantly. And I want to make this clear to everyone. This isn’t the Hulk guys, this is the Evil TOBA who’s sealed away behind the Red Door. Too BROKEN to be freed quite literally.
It’s honestly the writers that save the Marvel Omniverse by having those Aliens somehow being mega smart enough to make a time traveling bug to alter the Bad End timeline. He literally wins in the end lol. And the ending is mega freaky

If I remember correctly from reading this run, TOBA Hulk is also essentially Galactus of a new universe? Essentially Galactus' origin is that he was the last person existing in his universe when it ended and was filled with cosmic power and became Galactus. TOBA Hulk is similar: Hulk is possessed by the One Below All, kills Franklin Richards when the rest of the universe is dead, and then the universe resets, and Hulk becomes a being like Galactus. Because he is controlled by the One Below All, however, TOBA Hulk doesn't eat planets, he just destroys them. It's a really trippy issue, but most of Immortal Hulk is like that and it's great.
The difference is hulk killed everyone in the multiverse to be the last one left not just planets the multiverse he even ate metatron the sentence of the cosmos he wipe out everything
