    I can't believe the college class I'm taking on graphic design costs thousands of dollars yet this free TH-cam video explained this in 5 minutes ten times better than my professor who makes me follow a one and a half hour lecture just for this... college is a scam y'all

    • @MrDBC1978
      @MrDBC1978 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      The difference is the college course I'd designed to get you accountable and used to deadlines and working in groups and having regular critiques, etc., which you don't really get in the youtube world but yes if you just need a quick tutorial then yes these are great.

      Not really a scam lol college is more of networking than school itself. I wish I knew this earlier as an introvert

    You can also Select and then go to Object > Pattern > Make and I don't know why, but that's the way I've been making them. Just a reminder of how amazing this software is and how many ways you have each time to reach your goal.

    I didn't realize you could move the icons while you're in that pattern maker mode and OMG it works so much better for what I was envisioning. Dragging it out of the square makes it seamless.

    Hey, while this was wonderfully helpful, I do have one suggestion: I don't know the terminology, because I'm not a music major, but... I have headphones on. Even with the volume almost all the way up on my computer, I can barely hear you on this video. I checked to see if it was my ear or my headphones and listened to another video and dang near blew out my eardrums. I think you need to equalize your audio somehow to make your pops softer and the rest of the audio just generally easier to hear. Thank you again for the help, and keep up the good work!

    On the newer version of illustrator, Instead of placing the icons where you please, is there anyway to place icons anywhere on the page and then ask illustrator to automatically calculate and spread the icons, mix and matching in the process across the page with equal spacing between each icons?

    • @FebiMaster
      @FebiMaster 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could manually distribute it equally using pathfinder options, Window > Pathfinder, there you can see two options, "Distribute Horizontally" and "Distribute Vertically", to use that you need to select all of the objects that you want to distribute
