Peter and Madison DID apologize, when they walked in the room. Then they spent the whole time explaining why they were talking so long. The whole meeting was a conversation about the delay... Barb is full of it.
What disgusted me the most about Peter’s mom is that she wanted him to choose Hannah-Ann because she was ‘madly in love with him’. She was in no way thinking about if Peter felt the same about her and it shows she didn’t even care about Hannah-Ann as a person. If I was Hannah-Ann’s parents, I would be pissed with Peter but I would be equally pissed with his parents for being so selfish and forcing Peter to be with someone he was clearly not the most in love with. Toxic, manipulative, controlling mom = now we all know why Peter, as nice as he is, has a hard time making his own decisions. Bravo to Peter, though, when he told his mom to please stop (on night one) her emotional manipulation. Also - newfound respect for Madison. She handled herself, and Peter's mom, with maturity and grace. Barb should take her cue from the 23 year-old.

Yes the "soap opera" like emotions and histeria are a bit expected, him living with them is normal and all the rest, but we're always taught you wash your dirty dishes at home. If you don't have anything nice to say you shut up and we talk about it at home. It might be a somewhat normal for them to behave like that within their family, but was just uncalled for IMO.

Yes mommy dearest who a lot of people are saying she's just a mother who is protecting her son. How is embarrassing him and starting the clamping protecting her son. That sounds like someone that is pissed off at her son because her son didn't stay with the person who she wanted him to pick. And Chris even told Peter about his mom leading the clamping. How is he going to get pass all that his mom said and did the other day. Just a sad situation and I hope Chris was wrong and she didn't actually start the clamping. But by the way she acted the other night, Chris is probably right. I also like how Chris address how Barb should have handled the situation better, if her considers where about the love of her son. I feel bad for Peter out of every one on that stage .Hannah Ann and Madison may come and go but this is her son for life and how she treated him is truly sad. It is not a life and death situation. And the show is so produced that we don't know what all is really going on. I guess it is just because we watch the show so much, so it sucks us in. I think that's Peter's mom's viewpoint. If Peter wasn't raised that way, also did not, obviously, behave that way. Peter and Madison are very fundamentally, different. Good luck to them, but they have A LOT to hash out and discuss.. Church, politics, money, where you live, how you raise your kids. Peter is a young, immature boy who still lives with his parents. He is no where near ready to take on a relationship. He needs to grow up, move out and take on the full responsibility of life before proposing to anyone.

Peters mom doesn’t know what love is. She has an unhealthy & difunctional relationship with her sons. She is WAY too attached & controlling with her sons-cut the cord mom. Peter’s mom had said “di algo mas...ayudame” translating “say something, help me.” Meaning she wanted him to support and further her arguments. Because everyone was kind of booing her for her comments and she didn’t like that.
I think Peter was completely emotionally spent by the time Madi came out. I think he also doesn’t trust himself because he has made so many mistakes. I can see why he was hesitant to make any decision even with Madi. I think he is just really down on himself. And with everyone against them they are taking it slow. The drama of all this started when he went back home after Madison beak up and his momma kept insisting “bring her home” meaning Hannah Ann. I would’ve been more supportive of barb if she didn’t push peter to propose to Hannah Anne. I would respect her more if she told peter to stop and that maybe this journey wasn’t for him to end in a engagement instead of clapping for Hannah Ann.
I don’t believe that Peter was aware until now that his mom controls him with manipulation tactics. I also don’t believe that Barb is aware that she is doing it. She truly believes that what she thinks is always right. She is a textbook narcissist. I’m honestly not trying to come off sarcastic. I pray that the mom will watch this finale again and be enlightened to her control issues. It was clear in the way she behaved that she thinks controlling people is loving them. So not only does Peter have no clue what it means to really love someone but his mom doesn’t either. Instead of bashing them, I think we should all pray for this family and the drastic changes that need to take place to create healthy relationships moving forward. If the family learns from this, then all is not lost. There is no loosing in putting yourself out there only learning. Peter, Hannah, and Madison didn’t loose. They are young enough to learn from this what they want and don’t want moving forward. The worst trials can be our greatest teachers. The 3 of them will all be smarter and healthier in their other relationships. It’s always hard picking yourself up and moving forward when you feel you’ve been knocked on your back but it’s the ones who retreat, get jaded and quit trying who really loose. Peter does not come off mean spirited. He truly has been controlled by his mom to the point he is terrified of making his own decisions. Also, Barb does love her son. I saw pics of guys said to be on her season. A bunch of 20 year olds. Sheeesh. At least 10 of them. Several guys are in their 30s. One guy is 42. The oldest so far.
That is messed up - that they had already chosen the men before choosing the bachelorette!! For Clare the youngest should have been 30 yrs old, yet 23 out of 32 men chosen are younger than 30. That does not bode well.
And I think his mom is the incredibly rude one who went above and beyond to be rude compared with anything Madi may have done that wasn't even on purpose but her words and actions were. Something I just realized. I was very much for Mike becoming the Bachelor. Although Peter was cute, I remember thinking but I don't really know who Peter is except for the fact that he is a pilot and close to his family. I remember thinking Tyler has shared about himself Mike has shared about previous relationships and pain of a miscarriage, but throughout the whole Bachelorette season we never really saw who Peter was. But I guess I was charmed by his cuteness, seemingly innocence and supportive family. Now that I think about the Bachelor season, I realize, I still have no idea, other than he is a pilot, loves his family, very physical and additionally now that he is indecisive. Its really ridiculous because so many people make joke like Mike would have been different. But seriously, Mike would have given us so much more depth. We saw that at least during Hannah season. He would probably also have made mistakes but at least we have a sense about who he is and what he values.

I didn’t care for Barbs delivery to Madison but I have to agree with how she felt. I don’t think Peter and Madison will last. As far as Barb wanting an apology, I think she was right. Madison could have said, “I apologize for the delay but it was production”. I’m sure my opinion is not popular but I am team Barbara. Peter doesn’t need to be with either one in my opinion. I also feel as though the show set it up to make it the Barb show and not the season finale. They set Peter up to fail when they decided to have all 3 women live together in the end. They were not concerned with him finding love, they wanted a spectacle of a show and that’s what they got.

As a mom of 2 boys. This broke my heart for Peter and Madi. Even with all their differences, they are doomed to fail BECAUSE of his family. That's a hurdle that is nearly impossible to move past. His family needs to learn boundaries and how to let go of their pride for the sake of their loved ones. 💔
I don’t think he meant to tell Hannah about Madison like that. I think he CALLED Hannah “Madison “ in the proposal by accident, and THEN tried to cover it up after. If you go back and listen to it he starts the sentence with “Madison.... she left 2 days ago “ I think he was just trying to play it off. Which is even worse really.

What disgusted me the most about Peter’s mom is that she wanted him to choose Hannah-Ann because she was ‘madly in love with him’. Yes the "soap opera" like emotions and histeria are a bit expected, him living with them is normal and all the rest, but we're always taught you wash your dirty dishes at home. Chris also addressed the 3 HR in question, that Barb and Family was so upset about and why Barb hates Madison for. I feel like what someother people where thinking is true. There has to be something more than the 3 hrs thing. I know people are saying its because Madison supposedly said she wasn't in love with Peter and wouldn't get engaged to Peter. But there has to be more to it than that.

I don’t believe that Peter was aware until now that his mom controls him with manipulation tactics. I also don’t believe that Barb is aware that she is doing it. She truly believes that what she thinks is always right. She is a textbook narcissist. I’m honestly not trying to come off sarcastic. I pray that the mom will watch this finale again and be enlightened to her control issues. It was clear in the way she behaved that she thinks controlling people is loving them. So not only does Peter have no clue what it means to really love someone but his mom doesn’t either. Instead of bashing them, I think we should all pray for this family and the drastic changes that need to take place to create healthy relationships moving forward. If the family learns from this, then all is not lost. There is no loosing in putting yourself out there only learning. Peter, Hannah, and Madison didn’t loose. They are young enough to learn from this what they want and don’t want moving forward. The worst trials can be our greatest teachers. The 3 of them will all be smarter and healthier in their other relationships. It’s always hard picking yourself up and moving forward when you feel you’ve been knocked on your back but it’s the ones who retreat, get jaded and quit trying who really loose. Peter does not come off mean spirited. He truly has been controlled by his mom to the point he is terrified of making his own decisions. Also, Barb does love her son. She doesn’t come off as neglectful. She just needs to learn that control is not love. Those two things can never go together. I believe that Madison is smart enough to see this family is broken and I believe that she too is praying for them no matter how mean the mom came off.
I agree, however, Barb knew she was being mean , why else would she start speaking in Spanish? She is a mean person and doesn’t hide it. Even if Peter would have chosen Hannah Ann, eventually she would have ticked Barb off and suffered her wrath. As long as Barb is in control of everyone, she smiles. And it makes me so mad that her husband is the reason she gets by with it. He should be a real man and put her in her place. She has no respect for her family. And no respect for boundaries.

Peter, is a moma's boy, he really chose Hannah Ann for his mother but he wanted Madison, But he decided to go his way, not his Mom's. Sorry but I believe he needs to go live alone, work at being a grownup, at least until he is 30 or older. Never say you Love someone, AND DON'T jump into bed with them so soon. Get to know the person first, because your M.O. IS Saying You love someone because of a physical attraction. Sorry Peter you haven't felt true love yet. Don't force it or allow yourself to ask someone to marry you to make a family member happy.
Peter was hurt and he was honest and said he loved both. I think he thought he would make his mom happy abd he would get over Maddie but he couldn't I believe he tried to love her and couldn't give his all because he really loved Maddie

I saw pics of guys said to be on her season. A bunch of 20 year olds. Sheeesh. At least 10 of them. Several guys are in their 30s. One guy is 42. The oldest so far.
That is messed up - that they had already chosen the men before choosing the bachelorette!! For Clare the youngest should have been 30 yrs old, yet 23 out of 32 men chosen are younger than 30. That does not bode well.
It already feels like it's setting up to be another stupid season. I used to find the show fun at least some of the time but that seems to be gone.

And I think his mom is the incredibly rude one who went above and beyond to be rude compared with anything Madi may have done that wasn't even on purpose but her words and actions were. Something I just realized.
I was very much for Mike becoming the Bachelor. Although Peter was cute, I remember thinking but I don't really know who Peter is except for the fact that he is a pilot and close to his family.
I remember thinking Tyler has shared about himself Mike has shared about previous relationships and pain of a miscarriage, but throughout the whole Bachelorette season we never really saw who Peter was.
But I guess I was charmed by his cuteness, seemingly innocence and supportive family.
Now that I think about the Bachelor season, I realize, I still have no idea, other than he is a pilot, loves his family, very physical and additionally now that he is indecisive.
Its really ridiculous because so many people make joke like Mike would have been different. But seriously, Mike would have given us so much more depth. We saw that at least during Hannah season. He would probably also have made mistakes but at least we have a sense about who he is and what he values.

Good points. This episode made me think about what pilots are dealing with while flying us on planes.the kind of stress they may be dealing with. I’m going to be praying for them, Peter seems nice but confused like his decision for Hannah was cuz of his family & Madison bowing out. I wish his family could support them then maybe they could make it. I don’t like how Madison has been treated & misunderstood

I didn’t care for Barbs delivery to Madison but I have to agree with how she felt. I don’t think Peter and Madison will last. As far as Barb wanting an apology, I think she was right. Madison could have said, “I apologize for the delay but it was production”. I’m sure my opinion is not popular but I am team Barbara. Peter doesn’t need to be with either one in my opinion. I also feel as though the show set it up to make it the Barb show and not the season finale. They set Peter up to fail when they decided to have all 3 women live together in the end. They were not concerned with him finding love, they wanted a spectacle of a show and that’s what they got.
