Pete appeared here in particular because he played for the Philadelphia Phillies in the early-80s. He dressed as the San Diego Chicken because it was the first costumed mascot in baseball, for the San Diego Padres. Yeah.
The one swerve I love , love about wrestlemania XV was triple h joining the corporation. It legitimately surprised me when I watched the PPV for the first timr on the wwe network.

Totally agree with michael cole doing the commentary, he was so new to it and he was thrust into it after JR got sick a few months earlier and he sucked! plus he wasn't JR which is obvious but it didn't help. I remember watching mania 15 and being so relieved when JR came out to do the main event. You should review summerslam 1990 or the in your house from Winnipeg in October of 1995 or the in your house of September of 95 both will get a brown down!
Royal Rumble 1992. Let's do a retro ups and downs for something other than the god awful attitude era, ruthless aggression era or modern era. The greatest Royal Rumble deserves to be relived. Flair's title win, Roddy Piper fighting twice in one night and a solid world tag team championship match.

Man, I am always shocked that the Big Show jumping back onto to the mat WITH MANKIND ON HIS BACK never gets a mention when it comes to this show. Big Show doesn’t just fall backwards either, it’s a freaking jump. Foley had to be feeling that one in his lungs for a bit.
Do Vengeance 2005. Both main champions were on Raw so you had Batista vs Triple H in Hell in a Cell. Cena vs Christian vs Jericho for the WWE Title. Ya had Kane vs Edge before Matt Hardy got resigned. And of course the banger that is Angle vs Michaels in a WM 21 rematch.
The best "how are they going to co-exist" tag team was The Bar before they actually became The Bar. Because they would bicker and argue throughout their matches but would always work cohesively as a tag team while yelling at each other.
I remember the sudden tone change after Big Boss Man got hanged. They went from "OH MY GOD THIS IS TOO MUCH STOP THE MATCH" to "well, coming up next...."

The Attitude Era gets such a nostalgic pop from people and while I did enjoy it as a kid, I look back and see so much of it was crap. It was fun at the time, but good amounts of it did not age well after you grow up a bit. But oh well, I still look back fondly on those memories of begging our parents to get us the PPV and scrambling our pocket money together to order pizza and soda.
Plans change last minute and make things make no sense.... Oh what a crazy 25 years we had. Its so great to live in 2023 where we FINALLY have continuity and callbacks to old story lines.

Then again i think this was some time around the point when they did that collaboration with Maria Carey which ended up being one of the "number 1" songs of 1996 along with Dangerous Minds from Coolio and at that point i don't think they were the best choice for opening an "Attitude Era" PPV😅👍
Y'know, maybe it's just me, but I've always kinda felt that the WWF from 1995 until 2000 treated WrestleMania as just another pay-per-view instead of their biggest show of the year.
Butterbean has said that if Bart Gunn had fought him the way he did during Brawl For All he might have won; but instead Bart tried to learn how to box in like 3 months and got crushed.

You should up and down Survivor Series 2014. The main event to me was definitely a good survivor series elimination match. Definitely as good as the 2001 elimination match

Week 3 of requesting Halloween Havoc 97. One of the best and worst matches on the same card.
The only two memorable moments for me was the main event and this WM appearance from Debra as it was her only WM appearance.

Another issue with the hardcore title match is that Al Snow vs. Hardcore Holly one month earlier was a much more interesting to watch match.
