doesnt take a ton of money if you have patience. i have a setup that probably rivals his but i accumulated and upgraded over a loooooong time. i say rivals, but my cable management is a mess.

Does anybody know if the Alex drawers he linked come with one Alex drawer or a pair of them?
Maybe two, because at my IKEA, in Holland, 1 drawer costs €60 I think.

Its actually most likely a cell phone. It could also be a bluetooth or wifi device of any kind as well. Radio signals can penetrate non-balanced microphone cables, and looks like he caught it on recording.

How do you play games with a bezel in the middle?

that can't be good for his neck...
he games on one monitor. i think he said the bottom one on the right, but that would bug the hell outta me personally. id probably use the center top one if that wouldnt be hard on the neck after a bit. what he needs to do is get one more monitor to have on the bottom in the middle. the option of extended screens would be there but if not at least there would be a screen with no bezel in the center right in front of you.
He has em on monitor arms, so he can move one of them to the middle and the other one more to the side, so no neck problems.

he bought the legs and just nailed them into the desk
It looks like they're nailed to the top of the cabinets, but not underneath the desk top.... so then the desk top wouldn't be very stationary. I'm also wondering how he managed that?

The camera is about 5 feet away from where I sit, and I dont look down on camera I just have it there so I can make sure I'm in focus haha

Skovfo-Ged He did a lot of DIY, not to sound rude but you've either don't have a good setup or really didn't think about it before you said it. I've seen people with setups that probably cost 2x as much as his and I'm sure you have too. People who don't understand things will have a very plane themed, horrible cable management, lack of organization, etc. it takes time to learn how to make a good setup lmfao again no offence but really money doesn't make a good setup it's just funny to think about all those people with shitty setups that cost 10s of thousands of dollars.
i mean, i have no problems with cable management, my cables are routered nicly along the back of my table, but thats about it my setup isnt anything special, but for me to build anything on level with what he is doing, the only problem i have, would be the money,
Skovfo-Ged exactly, its not like its hard to learn how to do it, it just takes patience and attention to detail, some people just don't care enough to put the work in to make it look great.
Skovfo-Ged yea, but not everyone is comfortable with cables. A lot of these setups people have to renovate their houses by hiding the cables through the wall and if you ever actually wall mounted multiple screens to a wall you'd actually know how long and difficult it is, yeah when you see a video it looks easy but anyone who does knows its pretty difficult and time consuming. Just wondering fi you actually seen his video on that. his desk is also DIY'd as not everything came from IKEA and his table top is actually a wooden table counter. I'm just saying things like that most people wouldn't think of nor would they want to go through all that. I'm not saying money isn't a factor but it's probably not as big as a factor as you think. I've seen plenty of budget setups that really look amazing because people had time and experience.
