Huh... Is this the very first official version or something? One thing I see is that it doesn't seem that the arrow receptor has an explosion animation, instead the arrows just pass through it.
dancervic There wasn't a rating for 8-footers in 1.0. 1.5 added Maniac mode and the two songs "Trip Machine" and "Make It Better." In 1.5, eight footers were called "Exorbitant." I don't remember the 1.0 ratings.
wow! this is it! the very 1st DDR on Earth. Here in the Philippines, our first DDR that given to us was a "DDR (1.5) (INTERNET RANKING Ver.)" already. So that's why I don't have any Music List video of "DDR (1st)". Unfortunately on your gameplay, you didn't make an EXTRA STAGE after clearing the Boss/Final Stage songs; "MY FIRE [UKS Remix]" under NORMAL mode and you didn't choose "PARANOiA" (the 1st and only Konami original song) under HARD mode.
This seems to be the only DDR 1.0 video I can see in TH-cam. Pretty beta-ish. What are the foot rating names for 1, 6 and 8? And are 8-footers existing back then? Don't this mix have only 2 Single difficulty and 1 Double difficulty? HYNBM and Paranoia basic should have the other two.
***** Unfortunately, I did not play this game completely, so I do not know about all of the foot rating names or all of the installed songs. Sorry. And, this mix have only 2 Single difficulties and 1 Double difficulty as you said.
***** I have a few DDR 1.0 videos from the Fall 1998 Tokyo Game show. (The game was already in arcades by that time, however. It went out September 1998, and the "1.5" internet ranking update was released sometime in November.)

Wow, 1.0 feels kinda beta-ish with strange differences that were changed in 1.5, which people commonly refer to as the real 1st mix.
