great video!! i can't believe you finished DQIII (DQ is my favorite RPG franchise) and i'm very happy that you liked the game!! but in the video you mentioned about how "doesn't reinvent the wheel" and got me thinking because it is an 1988 game for the Famicom and have nice things like the day and night cycle, great job system, 2 full worlds to fully explore at your own leisure and it becomes and open world game in some point of the adventure!! i can't think of another or similar RPG from that time that does this kind of things! 🤔 anyway i wanted to ask you some things... in what difficulty do you play RPGs (?) what difficulty did you choose in this one and do you use guides in JRPGs (?) i'm curious
If you liked Brothership, I'd recommend trying out Superstar Saga (the original classic mario and luigi rpg), or Bowser's Inside Story. These are probably considered the best in the series and there are modern ports or the option to use Nintendo Online GBC to play (original superstar saga at least).
How the heck did you finish dq3 in 29 hours and do the postgame bosses. I had like 75 and didn't even finish optimizing the perfect reclassing strategies. Did I really grind liquid metal slimes that much?
Everytime I see someone talk about the mario luigi brothership game I see only this one jump move over and over and over. That really kept me away from it.
I heard the Mario RPGs were pretty good, but I do not play Mario games. I am just not a fan of all these QTE battle systems. I can not press those buttons in time. But that just means more time for my backlog. I have one I need to finish this year. And then I can finally start Ys X.
Hey I see u using ancie as ur thumbnail Card en ciel Fun, english Voice acting noice, (Japanese VA included) 3 ending in game (imo) Bad ending, regular ending, happy ending 😮🎉🎉

Card en ciel is super underated. Im glad to see it on the list 👍
FrameLand looks really cool! I might have to check it out for myself as well. Great video man~
Stop it, my backlog can only get so clogged! I literally have to finish 5 or 6 JRPGs and you keep adding more to my list...
BackClog
I think I have like 5 or 6 Yakuza games alone...not including the myriad of jrpgs....choosing is that hardest part!
5 or 6 is nothing to be concerned about.
2:59 the fact that her VA is the same as the one who dubbed Nu-13 from blazblue already gives me PTSD when she wants to talk more.
This helped me get a better idea of whether I'll get Brother ship or not.
Nice pick on Frameland!

Ultima 4 (only one open world, 1985) & ultima 5 (1 open world & one underworld connected with dungeons,1988)

The old Paper Mario and M&L games definitely disagree with this statement, hence why people don't like the modern entries so much
With the Steam winter sale happening. Any recommendations that’s I might be unaware of?
You should give Fantasian a go next year. I'm almost to the end, and it's been a pleasant surprise.
I really liked my time with Brothership combat evolved enough with power moves and small yet fun islands.

No shit

Can't bear yankee doodle voiceovers on anything except the odd anime
I do agree the moves take to long in Brothership lol they look amazing but ya to long
So, he still hasn't touched the Ar Tonelico trilogy?
