From memory there is an excellent book debunking the murder mystery of the princes in the tower in which Richard, who wrote letters to Elizabeth of Woodville after his coronation and the supposed murder of her sons, actually asks after said sons enquiring after their well-being and education. The assumption being that she was paid, handsomely, to take her sons and agree that they wouldn't contest the crown.
Can't remember the name, must have been a good thirty or forty years ago now, but it was fascinating and he could provide proof that either the princes didn't die but lived with mum and quietly married etc OR did die and she promptly had two more sons who she quietly raised, supported by Richard I think, and they married etc.
The murder catches the imagination though and adds to the demonise Richard theory that so many prefer, truth is often so much more mundane and uninteresting.
Nice dress, was interested to see you add gore's while other historical, and historically accurate, garment makers cut the skirts in one without gore's, you can see the fabrics together to get the widths without the gores. Their skirts certainly lie much more like they do in the paintings, especially of both Bergundian gowns and houppelandes, male and female. Will be doing the wedding dress I am making this way, that will give me fabric around 120" wide for the skirts and train.

As a person who dabbles in making jewelry, trust me, get yourself a pair of pliers meant for jewelry making. They don't cost much and they will make your efforts so much easier.

Great video, could you possibly lower the music ? It’s way too loud

love the video but perhaps in future lower the volume of the music a little more? its just competing a bit with your voice

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I have lowered the music volume in future videos I'm exporting, so that will be coming soon. The volume issues were just mentioned, unfortunately, or I would have done it sooner!

    I enjoyed
As at least one other suggested, a lower volume on the music, or even turn it off after your intro because it competes with the information. It would be fine to reprise the music at the end.
No how to make the pattern...

Hi Susanne! This is the pattern how-to I referenced in the video: daisyviktoria.com/product/medieval-dress-kirtle-cotehardie-gothic-fitted-gown-pdf-tutorial/
If you're interested in a separate PDF tutorial on just this style, I will certainly note that! It's on my list of tutorial requests.
