Hi, I don't have a Synology NAS, but you you could first make sure that you share the folder first on the NAS. Then add a romote location in FM+, try SMB Version SMB2, for Host use the NAS name, also use the username and password to access the files. Hope this helps.

    I use this app.
I use the premium one with dark mode.
It looks so nice, I dump everything on my 128GB SD Card.

How to I hide a folder

try this: Create a hidden folder: File managers typically recognize folders with names starting with a dot (.) as hidden. So, create a new folder and name it something like ".secret_files".

    Hi!
Today's phones have large and generous displays, with enough space for more extensive content. We use SD Card, USB via OTG and many other storage units and processing units. These File Manager / Explorer should be made in double Tab panel simultaneously, Double Sections, double Windows, such as Solid Explorer, MiXplorer, Es File Manager, so that we can manage our files quickly and easily, as with a commander. This File Manager+ is basically ok, it is the clone of Cx File Explorer, with the same interface and the same features, but in many cases, both depend on other applications to execute some commands.
An example, as one of the cases is: From a folder with several images, when you open an image in the gallery for example, you cannot see the other images scrolling through the viewer. Through File Manager + you have to access each image one by one.
Many others Managers have all of these features, even more, but anywas the app is ok 😉

As far as I know, File Manager+ and Cx File Explorer are from the same company. You are right, sometimes two panels are handy. I used to use Solid Explorer and FX File Explorer which have that functionality. But for some reason (mainly UI/UX) FM+ became my daily driver. I would not recommend ES File Manager as it has privacy issues. By the way, I think Norton Commander was one of the first dual panel file managers released for DOS. I loved Volkov Commander, which was probably its first clone.

@@solidbugs Before, I used Dual File Manager XT, from Medieval Software. It was a very good app for old android versions, but now it doesn't work well anymore and it's too poor. The best application is the one you like and which best suits your needs. I have to focus on a manager application to use permanently, but I don't know which one is more reliable. I think MiXplorer is one of my favorites and Solid Explorer

@@mariusmarius4148 I have installed FX, FM+ and Solid Explorer, but most often I use FM+ because it's so simple and powerful.
