- Only two weeks after completing a nine-day ministry throughout the Pacific, President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints kept his busy schedule with a stop in Florida in early June.
President Nelson’s visit coincides with the three-year anniversary of a mass shooting at an Orlando business that claimed the lives of 49 people and injured many others.
Prior to speaking to thousands of Latter-day Saints and friends of the Church, the global faith leader met with government, interfaith and community leaders at a reception, including the owner of the closed business now being turned into a sanctuary of hope.
I was there! You could truly feel the love President Nelson has for us. So inspiring : )
President Nelson amazes me. What great example he is and how tirelessly he serves. He is 93! May God continue to bless this good man. I love his words and want to do all I can to support him as our prophet.
Love it, Love will indeed conquer hate. This is a good man doing God's work, spreading the message of Jesus Christ and Love.
Jesus message is to have faith and love and you will be saved. No message was given regarding temple work for yourself and dead people, nowhere! Why should I believe Prophet Mormon or Nelson before Jesus' own Word.

Those who give a thumbs down do not understand the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and do not have a testimony of the workings of Jesus Christ. In time, the testimonies of the righteous will be strengthened and the weak will be lifted from despair as those who rest in the grave will be resurrected in glory unto the Lord Omnipotent according to the desire of their hearts.

Sad that the news are only for English speakers. Do not non- English members deserve to listen the news of the church in their own language?
President Nelson speaks Chinese fluently. I am certain he has interpreters when her speaks to those of different nationalities. He is the Prophet of God that extends love and kindness to all people...he just returned from a 10 day trip to the Polynesian people..and now in Florida. Last year he ministered to those who lost their homes in Northern California a week after losing a beloved daughter to cancer. I am sure he was still grieving. However, he has a clear understanding of eternity. This man/Prophet is doing the Lord's work. We would do well to do all we can to follow his example and his council to spread love and kindness to everyone we meet.
While I think they may have broadcast it in multiple languages, it doesn't appear that the newsroom coverage has audio except in English. Juan Morales I think eventually there will be some kind of electronic interpreters for all languages - like in the temples. Please be patient my dear friend, one day soon it will come.
The Holy Spirit will gladly translate.
@NaDopros Who said that?.I 'm saying that members of the church of Jesus Christ that don't speak English, should have access to everything coming from the church in their own language. All these news and reports are never produced in, at least the most spoken languages of the church, the church of Jesus Christ is for the whole world no only for Americans. The church has the resources to do so, nonEnglish speakers should have the same treatment, they pay tidying too.

Saw that bobble showing President Nelson is not so steady on his feet. I have such tremendous respect for a man who has the human weakness of age to the point where he really needs to hold on to someone to stay steady on his feet, but yet he pushes on and seems to be intent on spreading God's love. I am trinitarian and I do pray for revelation to President Nelson that God will reveal this to him, which I understand will only happen if God decides it is necessary. Who am I to say what is best. On a human note I do hope that President Nelson is using a rollator or walker when he is not in public, as it is so much safer for walking about to avoid falls -- and of course, God protect him.

LDS people have Good hearts and are kind, well Dieiter and Russell you have the power and resources to prevent all of this.
For the cost of a fraction of the cost of building a Temple which it has to be said is designed to benifit the Dead as much as the living excersise the spirit of God in your hearts and give a free hand to sister Eubank and feed all these people.
If you don't it will lie heavy on your hearts and perhaps you will not achieve pure Joy.
