I love good music because it makes me remember there's beauty in this world. It's easy to forget that, but good music reminds me. Anyway, your sensitivity reminds me of me, though I have nothing of the musical talent that you have. Anyway, keep up the good work. The world needs people like you.
Zdravo Iva! Some achingly beautiful pieces there - can’t listen to the Barber without feeling devastated afterwards and Koyunbaba is just a blast (C#minor again!). Thank you for being so open about your connection to the pieces. Have really enjoyed the whole series - thank you! Would love more even if it can’t be one a day (that seems like a lot of work!). You can be incredibly proud of the achievement - great idea and brilliant variety and execution! 👏👏👏👏👏
Hola desde Barcelona!. Definitely, yes, I would love for you to continue with these videos. They are very useful, enjoyable and educational. I am learning a lot with them, so thank you very much for that. On the other hand, your list of classical pieces is perfect. I would also add some Spanish classical pieces: Concierto de Aranjuez, Asturias...
Really , one of the best video's for you princess Iva 💞. Perfect choice's , really enjoyed so much. Believe me , I guessed , that Swan Lake, will be one of your favorites , it's my first choice , I watched live show in Bolshoi theater several times , the music is fantastic. Another point , please take your decision to play all of the mentioned beautiful piece's of music in the form of a series , this will be amazing. Always you are amazing 😍
Hello, Iva, and grateful to you for share with us your passion to the world of classical guitar through your instructional, and always interesting and elaborated vídeos, shorts and reels. It's nice to hear You in some audios in Spanish (I live in Barcelona -I Saw a Pic that You post at the Sagrada Familia, 20 minutes walking from my home- 1minute near the Francisco Tárrega street). Well, thanks for this sincere video, except the fourth piece, unknown for me, the rest are really moving and inspiring pieces. Congratulations, and go on with your work and passion. Finally, Tell You that, aside your videos and streams, I Don't Know where Can I find and purchase your magnificent studio performances performances in CD, searching for Internet stores. If you or your managers could Tell me about It. Thank You Very Much, Iva, sorry for my long commentary, best Wishes, happy holidays, and greetings from Barcelona.
- Audio is 10,000 times better with the close-miking. In fact, quality equals any spoken-word audio you're apt to hear on YT. - Softly wind-blown hair equals quality of any softly wind-blown hair you're apt to see on YT. - Adagio for Strings (an incredible masterpiece) was written by Barber while he was on vacation in France. Must of been a bummer of a vacation to have gotten him that depressed. But we all came out the winner in the deal as a result. Only piece I can think of (and that's not saying much coming from me) which is a coin flip for sounding as good done as a choral piece as it does played as an instrumental. But I would dread being a soprano tasked with having to hit that horror-movie piecing note, and avoid splattering it all over the building. I knew such a soprano who lived just up the road from me, who sang in the local college choir. I heard her nail that note a few times in concert, and it was something to behold. - I would include the 18th variation (Rach.), which I've never heard interpreted for guitar. Simple, although tough piece to get right (but that's not saying much coming from me), as most performances I've heard (by folks who ought to know better) tend to bang away mercilessly at it and overplay/over-dramatize it, instead of letting the tune do its thing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it - and that melody definitely isn't broke.
Silencio is not Beethoven's piece. Besides all of his opus, considered to be one of the greatest in history of music, you've been inspired by a piece which is not even written by him. Silencio (Beethoven's Silence) is popular Ernesto Cortazar's easy listening piano ballad.
But, in the video, while she is reading about a Beethoven composition, the music by Beethoven is playing in the background. So, it IS a Beethoven piece, but I think the name is wrong. It is not called "Silencio", not in English-speaking countries anyway, where it is known as the "Moonlight Sonata", though Beethoven did not call it that!
Last episode of Sunday Talks of 30 days challenge 🥹 should we continue this series after Guitar month is over?
I think that yes is the right decision.
Yes, you should continue them.
Yes. But, I want you playing the guitar more.

Continuing this series is a very good idea!
🥰❤
Dein Video öffnet mir die Türen zu ganz neuen Welten. Danke!
Very human video reminding us that music is much more than technique and acrobatic show. 💜

Iva, Addagio for Strings will forever be associated (in the US, at least) with the Oscar-winning movie "Platoon" from 1983.
