Glad you got a villa! Depends on which website you use to book you're required to put the total amount of guest to get the correct total. All properties are asking for ID started about 4-5 years ago.

Same, I bring duffel bags when going for like a 2-4 day trip and roll up the clothes dem so it saves time when looking for an outfit during your days 👍🏾and also extra plastic bag for the dirty clothes and panty/socks. Also sorry to hear you got scammed 🥺I hope someone can get this guy off the Airbnb app cause that’s just so disgusting!! And yes always gotta wash up the plate and pots dem during and after food is done ✅ love the hair style on you ☺️

I have waited a long time here for pizza also in the US. Pizza Hut and Dominos are all slow. I usually order and go run another errand. I just don't like waiting in line anywhere. In my area in the US, they seem to be hiring a lot of older people to work at many of these fast food restaurants and they are not as fast as the younger kids. Mcdonald's also has slow workers sometimes, it depends on the McDonald's you go to. Anyway, I usually take my grands there for treats but have cut that off recently.

I had them on my list of places to stay when I visit Jamaica. Now I have a change of heart. I will not go to a place and spend my money where I am not respected as a customer / black person.
There is Jamaican TH-camr who lives inRichmond Estates. I really love the community. Several of the homes are owned by Canadians. Draxhall Manor is not as nice. I’m glad you’re having a good time it’s your friends

I stayed at this airbnb that you ended up going. The host name is Richard and they were super nice to us.
Pretty sure Richard is a nice man. Annesha put that she was the only guest and brought 5 other guys with her. Richard had every right to cancel because that’s against his policy

Always keep id on you in case of police or medical and some businesses ask for id.
Also, please who rent or lease property can go after payment from everyone who stay at the property for damages...I'm glad you were able to have a great time regardless of the scam

You can dispute this with airbnb, they can force a refund. Also, you carry your id for that reason, verify your self in an emergency or confirm you are who you say you are.

When you book an Airbnb I thought you were supposed to state how many guests are staying there? If you abided by the rules Airbnb will refund you. I think you didn’t input the amount of guests when booking that’s why. It’s a shame but good thing you were able to book somewhere else and enjoy the rest of your week🙌🏾

Idk y u need to do that I think it’s only in Jamaica. Because I booked 1 n I put 3 ppl but the house had 4 rooms I only could stay in 1 . But I had access to the whole house. Yea it’s stupid paying per guest . Hotels r not like that . As long as u quite n don’t break shit it’s fine . But under 4 guest to a room . He need to get cuss out cuz he could have said when how much ppl u have u need to update it or pay me now . Since he wanna be nosy. I stay twice in air bnb in usa 🇺🇸 ppl don’t care. My sister had a wedding it was like 25 ppl in a 6 bed room home . Anther time it was me n bff n her co worker
With all that is happening, for the safety of all the residents in the communities, you should all have IDs. How do you drive without an ID? For your own safety O would recommend you travel with an ID

Wow, sorry you got scammed. Glad you found a better place. Did you report the scammer to Airbnb so you can get your money back? Or dispute the charges with your credit card company. Make sure you write a bad review under his profile.

Girl these Airbnb’s are getting out of hand. I had something similar happen to me in Tower Isles in 2019. We had to threaten the host to get a full refund (and we reported to Airbnb) as he wouldn’t respond when we arrived.

Be careful. Not worth it. They will kill you off; just call it a lost. I had Belizean friends who went to Jamaica, and they woke up with someone standing over them in the room.

@@anneshaadams yes, they rented the villa to a local couple and to my Friends. It seems they had several people accepting bookings for one place. The couple was aggressive but they didn’t know my friends were cops on vacation. They had a very bad experience thanks to foolishness

🔥🔥did u get a refund from Airbnb? If not u can call them and they will refund you they will even remove that villa from Airbnb as it’s against their policy. I had a similar situation years ago in Jamaica and I was refunded and that Airbnb places was removed from Airbnb

If you would have added all 6 people at check in on airbnb. You could have saved urself alot of trouble. I had something like this happen to me for not adding my gf (at the time) The owner was kinda upset but got over it.
Richmond is very cautious with strangers coming in and out because of safety reasons.
