I mainly use the gas company in Silent Hill. As you said we just call and they deliver. 🙂
I was actually looking at mainly their four doors fridges about 2 weeks ago as I want to upgrade to one of them eventually when we have our own home.

The heavy metal is called a stove top skillet. I use it for frying eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast etc.

Those electric cords are a fire hazard. You should also get power surgers for the fridge and stove. When light goes off and comes back on suddenly it can damage your fridge and stove without a power surger.
Plug microwave directly into wall sockets.
It's also best to purchase appliances in Jamaica because they have the proper element built in for that country so your appliances don't burn out quickly. This is different from voltage which is the same for Jamaica, Canada and USA.

The metal thing that you found in the oven is used to put in the middle of the stove top. You can place your plates on it while sharing food, or for hot pots. Some people also use it when making pancakes
It's called a griddle. You use it for making pancakes, sausage, bacon, stuff like that

Loving this video and so glad you're getting more settled into your place. I truly could appreciate the gas install!!! I would love to learn more about having it installed like you did rather than to always have to replace the gas tanks.
Hi, she will still have to get the gas cylinders changed when they are empty. These larger 45kg cylinders have to be placed outside so you usually get 2 so that you always have a full one. The gas companies do free delivery to change out the empties

@@vonnieg They can last for 6 months or more but with daily cooking I'm not sure. I'm using electric stove now so I'm not sure but the smaller cylinder would last me 3 months
The stove is very nice. You can get a glass splatter guard for the wall.

FYI, those extension cords should not be used for microwave or heavy use of electricity. Fire hazard. Buy a couple of surge protectors. Amazon have them.🙏🙏

@@anneshaadams Hi Annesha, I just found your Channel and subscribed. I am a new TH-camr but a great cook. I teach how to cook mainly Jamaican meals plus others in simple steps 😊👍🏼 so you could try to cook some meals. I'm definitely getting some of those paste on tiles because I plan to do more work on my kitchen at a later date
I've thought about getting that big gas. Maybe eventually we will but for now, we have two regular sizes and we refill one before the other runs out because who loves when gas done 🤷♀️😂😂😂

Aww great job girl! It is an accomplishment to be able to buy your own tings dem! Big up yuhself mama! Just some simple suggestions though- I would highly encourage you to get cupboard and drawer liners for all your drawers and cupboards, get some cute kitchen artwork, some blinds or curtains and kitchen mats, oh and def. some plants-maybe herbs plants for decor- super cute! Hahah- i'm just being nuff but great work either way!
