Well, when I was a caregiver and things went haywire, and all the call lights went off at once, I called that adventures in caregiving. I think today that you were having adventures in farming. It was amazing though to see you do it with a baby on your back. My hat is off to you. God bless you and your family. The alfalfa bucket was the bomb.
Build a barrier in one of the corners so the piglets can go under and get away from the mother crushing them. Also in this corner put a heat lamp (be careful of potential fire) hanging so the piglets are warm and they will gravitate there when not suckling on mom. And get the other pig out of there as it can harm the piglets.
Can the baby pigs slip through under the bottom rail of the pen next to the other half and get eaten by daddy on other side? I don't see anyplace the babies can go to get away from momma so she don't lay on them either. Also it makes a place you can put a heat lamp if it turns cold. Baby pigs can chill quickly. Baby pigs are fun. Enjoy.

Yall may want to think about separating those gilts before she has her piglets. Keeping pregnant gilts/sows pen together is fine when ur on pasture or in a larger pen, but the problem ur going to run into with them penned in so tight is the mother doesn’t have a wide enough space to get away from the other one. Crushing or pigs getting eaten is very likely to happen, good luck tho! I’m interested in seeing how all this plays out.
So impressive how hard your children work right beside you to get everything done on the farm but that’s how we were on the farm as well.
