- I test the Shine Armor Graphene Ceramic Spray!
The awesome folks over at Shine Armor were super cool and asked me to product test their highly innovative Graphene Ceramic Spray!
As a weathered detailer, I am very aware of the two sides to this product - ceramics which have been about for a number of years now and have risen to the point of being far beyond traditional waxes and older sealants, providing easier application as well as far better durability, hydrophobics and gloss. Then the graphene side which is a much newer innovation in the detailing world and it is really taking off, providing a tighter web of protection than ceramics and a depth of gloss that is unsurpassed, so combining these together is truly genius - getting the best of both worlds in a single product!
Not just the contents of the product but the fact that it is a liquid spray means that the application is going to be much quicker and easier than traditional products like hard or paste waxes but should provide us with amazing results none the less!
The first part of the process is to get the car cleaned down, using the same process as the last video I did so to see this process in more detail, check out that video - I will put a link below!

Long story short, the process is pre-wash to loosen larger dirt and grime followed by the two bucket method contact wash before rinsing off and drying.
I then get to move on to testing the Shine Armor Graphene Ceramic Spray!
Application is super simple - a few sprays onto a clean microfiber and then wipe the product on. You can just about see the product on the paint surface so you know when to reapply with a couple more sprays.
After leaving for a couple of minutes, buff off with a separate clean microfiber and you will reveal an epic shine - that is it!
Just leave to cure without exposing to the elements for about 4 hours and you will have epic protection to go along with the epic gloss!
Convenient and versatile in how it can be used - as a base coat or as a top up layer - you also don't use much product so can layer up after every wash if you want to!
I show this process as well as doing a couple of hydrophobics tests, before and after, to show the product really working!
All in all I am very impressed with this product and I am sure you will be too after watching this video - the results really speak for themselves on my MK3 Ford Focus RS - the nitrous blue sparkle paint really pops with incredible shine and warmth of gloss!
