Love these types of videos you are so good at giving us . Yes a light boat is a fast boat but there is that narrow margin where you try to get it close to the limit without a boat turning into an airplane . Really wish Proboat would release another UL class of Hydro of this caliber but i suspect not unfortunately . Are fiberglass boats from this company a thing of the past , i hope not although a fiberglass boat is harder to mass produce then polycarbonate and keep the price reasonable ..
They still have the impulse it's fiberglass, I'm will to bet that there will be an update version of the ul19! That boat is to iconic to just discontinue. Just my opinion 🤷
@@IRONCLADRC Like so many others this is my favorite boat Proboat has made and was disappointed it was discontinued . I almost scored a new one on Ebay but i slept on it and gone by morning . Instead i bought the 42 which is a great boat but there something about a Hydro big and small that gets me hard , lol . And that is just my opinion . BG4L

The curve has to be set perfectly, something I've always struggled with, if you get it right, it'll somwhat hold the boat down in the water without digging or lifting the sponson.. had the fin set perfectly in my previous video, until it hit a 🐢..

Once, didn't like it so I did the next best thing, cut a short straight fin, which worked extremely well
B I'm looking at the tp 4070 CM 2200kv for a 41" saw mono. Paired with an xlx2. Do you think it would be a good setup to prove/dial in on 6s before I move to 8s for speed runs? You have a cm motor and just wondering how they hold up. I have a 2100kv tp4050 now and it seems to love it in my carbon pursuit.
2200kv is pushing it for a 41" hull IMO, definitely won't be an oval boat what so ever, strictly saw passes,"one hitter quitter setup. "
But it should work especially if your keeping the boat light
I've been running cm motors for a long time they have plenty torque, but do not like extended run times.
