    Label on the 3BRC package should read: "Warning: make sure your rig is pointed in a safe direction before you pull the trigger!

      Doesn't hurt them or their performance at all. You can even mud bog it. Just maintenance like any motor with bearings.

    Hi.
    I have a scx6 too
    I want to do the same tuning as you.
    Black jacket + mamba monster x 8s combination...
    Do I just have to change it like this?
    Is there any problem with crawling when the power is going up?
    Where can I find more information?
    Thank you.

    What are the “mandatory” things you’d say I need to get for it or do to it to help it handle the increase in power?

    • @3brothersrc418
      @3brothersrc418 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Stock system has a great drag brake. However in fist gear the scx6 doesn't budge with 100% drag and the blackjacket. However for crawling the Blackjacket is far superior and you have much better control over stock.

    Yo! What settings are you running on the esc? I have the same setup.
    I have mine very mild, low drag brake, 30% punch, no timing etc. running a 15t vitavon mod1.5t and trans/skid and After about 45 seconds the esc says the motor is hitting thermal.
    I check my temps, they’re at 130. But when I check my data logs it says 190+
    And it doesn’t seem nearly as powerful as yours.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

    Is this the ultimate hot rod motor to get? I wanna go all in on a 8S and looking at all of your videos you have this motor looks like it's the wickedest but what motor do you recommend ? I'm sure there's more pros and cons that I'm aware of just by watching the video But if I'm gonna go all in on 8S for a wicked hot rod what would you get price not being an object?

    • @KamikRC
      @KamikRC 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This motor isn’t as fast as he shows in the video. I’m in 15t vitavon trans and the motor overheats almost immediately . Same setting as Exo said. I’m barely faster than stock 2-3 mph more on 8s and customer service from 3brc isn’t good.
      Unless Exo did some crazy tuning in his esc it’s not like this.

    Do you have a preference with the 3BRC 860kv Motor over the Castle 8s System? I see you run the Castle setup on your daily scx6. Curious to know if there are any cons to the 3BRC motor? Thanks for ALL your Great videos!! Congratulations on going FT with your videos!

    • @KamikRC
      @KamikRC 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Cons for the 3brc is it doesn’t run like in the video. It’s not as fast as he’s showing and it gets super hot.
      I had to add fans to mine to keep it cool. Wouldn’t recommend this motor at all. The only difference mine has is the Vitavon single speed transmission which is roughly same gearing as in second on the stock trans.

    • @keldonator
      @keldonator 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I thought the vitavon single speed transmission was like 1st gear. I saw the smallest pinion you can use with the vitavon trans was 15t, can you still crawl okay? I'm looking at the 2028 castle motor and 8s esc combo @@KamikRC

    • @KamikRC
      @KamikRC 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@keldonator it crawls perfectly fine. Even better than the original transmission imo. The reason it’s 15t is it’s mod1.5. The gears are physically much bigger. Stock is mod1.
      I’m not a castle fan, just make sure that motor can crawl as Those are typically speed run motors. The motor I had made it crawl amazing after adjusting my throttle trims on my Flysky NB4. The 3BRC motor has super slow crawl if you set your esc/transmitter up right.
      Would go that route again but, don’t use it as a basher motor, they get too hot too quick.
      I hope this helps!!

    • @keldonator
      @keldonator 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KamikRC What other electrical system and pinion would you run using the single speed transmission if you wanted to crawl and be able to go 10mph or so? I appreciate your input

    • @KamikRC
      @KamikRC 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@keldonator the one that I had in my scx6 was the castle mmx (8s) and the 800kv 3BRC motor. I’d say it got me 15mph or so but the capability was great.
      Do you plan on staying 3s or upping to 6s/8s?
      The stock transmission is a solid setup as well. You don’t need to upgrade it, I did because it would handle 8s better.
      But for servo, I’d definitely say go NSDRC RS2500. It’s an expensive servo but, my goodness it’s powerful and fast! Can run up to 4s direct power.
      I’d say figure out if you want to go to 6s or 8s first. 8s requires more then just swapping systems. You’re looking at transmission, shimming diffs, upgrading the drive shafts etc.
