Much easier way. Just reinstall the inner door panel don't worry about the window once you get that input a couple of bolts in the inner door panel get it held into place then just reach up into the speaker twist that little white bracket around straight and flat and then slide the window down into it from the top you don't have to fight it like you're doing
Not input sorry voice type is terrible. Once you get the inner door panel installed put some bolts back in it then reach through the speaker whole twist that white window bracket straight just slide the window down it'll lock right into it you don't have to fight it going in you don't have to do it all at it at first and it makes it so much easier
What I did on mine.. that pulley at the top that breaks: I just drilled it out and welded in a bolt/shaft, etc. to some big flat washers.. so that it will hold that plastic pulley in place again. and it has worked fine for a few months now. Honestly this is how it should be from the factory.. a metal bolt with metal washers sandwiching the plastic pulley. On the OEM/ aftermarket options.. it just gives you the same plastic pulley which will break again. You can maybe make it last longer by putting lube in the window tracks on the sides, so that it will slide easier. But really, it's just a bad design-- being made of plastic and not metal.
Great suggestion! I've thought about doing just that. Now that I know it works, I may go the extra effort. both rear door window pulleys broke. Plastic crap. Thanks for sharing your solution!
Hey, thanks for the video . My upper pully broke this morning and I didn't want to start opening it before I had an idea how it worked... very clear and included the difficulties of maneuvering the panel to get it fixed... thank you again.
He didn't pry against the glass. And he did say not to do that. Sorry I'm just saying that is kinda common sense. 😂 Rite.. But I do know a few people that would do just that.. A little situation could be a whole lot worse... 😂😊
@@mariedehaven4993 Yes he did.. You can see it at 15:20.. Prying against the glass with steel. If you need to do this, just use wood or plastic. Tool steel is very hard and will easily shatter the glass... He did fine- but for others who don't know what they are doing -- you should not even try to pry against glass like that.. You will break it, I promise
That's Crazy. They are robbing people. But you know alot of people don't even know where to get the parts. And don't even think about doing a how to Google search. It's amazing what you can find..

Glad it was helpful!
Hello! Quit question man, when u set both cables, when they meet in the middle, are they going crossed or each way up and down? Thank u!
This did wonders for me 😅
🙏🏾
Good Job Man
Never pry against glass with metal like he does here... He's lucky it didn't shatter the glass. Just push the lock with your fingers.

Do you have a video on this?
I don't think he was prying against the glass. Was he. Sorry I'm just old and half blind. LOL.😊
@@mariedehaven4993 You can see at 15:20.. prying against the glass with steel.. Do this at your own risk.

And the mechanic just quoted me 789 for parts and labor.. smh
lol... Did you go to the dealer?
They always try to rob people.

And it probably would have only taken you about 2 hours labor tops.
