In practice it means the extra fire damage from heatshiver counts for your freezes. The actual freeze itself still comes from dealing critical strikes, this being an inquisitor crit build

As for the build itself, in the tree you should absolutely grab the 30% area of effect at the templar start and the 30% near the witch start. Taking iron will and scaling both intelligence and strength would be a better way to scale the damage and a glorious vanity conquered by doryani would almost double the effective hp.
I'm not sure he gets the 30% chill from chilled ground that easily. however I see that he gets some chance to freeze here and there so this might be enough for a non crit build
You didnt even mention that the >50% Blood sacrament puts you just into low life for Pain Attunement A explanation of what damage (type) blood sacrament does also would have been good
tested this, awhile back, freezing advanced rares and hard bosses doesnt work and you loose a lot of dps while loosing on possible defences from these slots. some bosses have freeze applied to them without actually freezing/immobilizing them so the dps aplies but.....just going pure life works better
@@nikkosmit6985 If you are going to do this build, it's definitely not for clear, it's for bossing (look at the AoE), and if most endgame bosses bybass your core mechanics, might as well go full on DPS mode like Lance's build (it's also very tanky but can die randomly rarely) and since you reserve like 91%, your clear is actually insane.
why is it important to convert 100% of phys to cold with hrimsorrow (why not rare gloves+mastery?) if chest says "all damage can freeze anyway, so phys as well?
@@juedcago mastery and gloves are enough, with mastery giving u 40% and gloves u would either taki aisling 35% convert + 25% on implicit, or 25% craft on bench + 35% implicit
You can't play this build on the console. We don't have a "left click" meaning every skill has to be cast manually. GGG has been ignoring suggestions to implement two skills and one-button feature to the consoles.
It's actually a really fun build. If you search up Captain Lance's build, it's way better. If you think the game is stupid, you are free to not play it and play another league. Or even better, uninstall the game and don't give it any more attention.

I wanna add to this. Screw the Cold damage. Go Straight up Fire Damage, convert it with Avatar of Fire and something else. Throw on some Herald of Ash, Throw on some Fury Boots. dip into AOE , MAYBE take pain attunement and fucking just nuke. Shit you could do it on a Jugg if you wanted to
It's not showcased here, but this build is excellent at bossing (at least for the CaptainLance version), you can stutter step between casts without losing on DPS, so you can keep moving while dealing damage.
While i love the series and presentation of it, why this one over captainlance version, when it seems to perform way better on every aspect of the game...
The only endgame content shown in the video is The Hidden. We can't see mods, so can consider invitation is white and Height of Hubris is unallocated. Can we see this build versus Uber Exarch?

I like the effort and idea especially compared to last week's generic mathil build, but this thing looks clunky to map with and seems vulnerable to being shotgunned by ranged mobs.

But as long as one is alife, one does WAY more damage for less investment. This build uses a Bottled Faith, Auls, Torrents, zeal/hatred watchers... which alone is 13 - 14 div combined. For 2mil boss damage on the 80version and 6m on the "endgame". With 2.2 unreserved life and a leech rate of 1k. You want your leech to fill your life in 1sec at least. Compare it to the life stacker version, which does multiple the damage for less investment. Hence my point stays - and does so in general, since I'd rather had some more information in those videos. Since it IS something else than the most builds are doing.
This build is like: "I steal Cap Lances idea and add some trash uniques that makes this build mine(but literally worse version of original)". Quin plays like this every league too
Versions actually a lot consistent, the hp reservation is reliable and you don't die to random dots making a much more consistent(and better since Lance's version does to random dots all the time) build.
"steal cap lances idea" - yea, it's known that captain lance invented relic of the pact. there's litearlly ONE way to build around this fucking item. before captain lance 1000 years ago I've built the same build twice to try it out with a couple of ideas with like 20%-30% difference to these versions, unbelivable. if you just drop the ego, pride and all the other things that define the behaviour of a 7 year old child, you could realize how his version would result in randomly fucking dying all the time to random fucking shit, especially in the hands of the target audience that are complete noobs. even lancecaptain4615 tells you that in his video. do you think they would a feature a build like that, what also has 3 jewels that cost 20 divines each? like if you had at least 50 IQ and imagined a GGG employee looking at a build like that, you'd so fucking obviously understand how they would not feature a shitfest like that for all the other 30.000 noobs to try the build who don't even understand how fucking any of anything works in the fucking game
I don't think this is a good build. So what if you can freeze mobs near you? The range is too weak for mapping, and the shooting squads will kill you anyways once you're out of the baby level maps. Maven invitations? Perhaps. Pinnacle bosses? Nope. Noob friendly? League starter? NO.
I also laughed, then i wondered... "The difference between offence vs. offense is entirely dialectal. There is no demonstrable difference in function or meaning between them, and both words are used at similar rates throughout English but with different audiences". didnt know that :)

don't forget that with petrified blood, it won't ever let you get out of low life, so it's not a big deal

heatshiver only provide extra cold to fire, not generic dmg to fire
You can probably run master+glove craft and a watcher's eye. It's just thst hrimsorrow is cheaper lol

The original build is released before captainlances if you actually did some research

You can look up Captain Lance's version which is infinitely better and can do all Ubers and Invitations without much trouble
