Prince hated people covering stuff exactly as it is. He always respected people doing their own stuff, and that's what Lenny did. He made his own version out of these songs, and that's how it should be, I guess. I personally love Lenny's version and appreciate the whole show he did.
As a ARMY retiree I can tell you that when I was deployed and times got "dark" it was Faith, Family, and PRINCE that got me through....

Keeping in mind this is a tribute, I think it is very respectfully done. No one tried to be like Prince, but, in contrast, honor him. I found it beautifully done. Excellent. Thank you to all for this amazing. respectfully done, homage for our Prince. It shows nothing but love.
Probably the only dude who can actually pull off a Prince tribute and own it.
Hard to believe this world without Prince, Michael, Tom Petty, Bowie, and Lenny don't you dare leave us too. This tribute was awesome.
