It spawned so he immediately tagged it instead of waiting in line or partying up, and like 5 people just watched him die to his own selfishness. They could have easily saved him, but he deserved it.

Just think about it contextually. A mob is a group of people that is about the mass not the individual and mobs in games are groups of enemies that are not specific enough to be named. I am pretty sure that is how they got named as that was the context to which we called them that. If you have to farm 20,000 silk cloth every time your tank dies or use some kind of resource system like tokens or something it will feel like a similar consequence to a dead tank except tanks won't feel like suckers when they join your incompetent raid group or prone to flight. Being a purist hurt classic wow the first time, maybe being a little flexible isn't such a bad thing.

My grandmother plays retail. She doesn’t do any endgame content. she just levels to level 60 over and over again all while playing in first person. She has several servers of max level characters
Many years back there was an Orc Warrior PvPer named Mom who was the absolute terror to the Alliance on my server. In chatting with the player, turned out it was a grandma who got into playing to keep in touch with her grandkids in between visits and playing helped with her hand mobility.
classic hardcore needs a graveyard for dead characters. it can be a hill where the higher the level of death the closer to the peak the tombstone appears
On the flip side, along with the pressure increase, the power you hold skyrockets as well. Nobody in hardcore is gonna want to piss off their healer, LOL.

Things that kill us expected in dark elf area. The level 5 quest to fill a vial, you have to climb the tower to talk to a guy. Lot of people die coming down, a pile of dead ne bodies at the base of the tower. My daughter one of them. Another, barrettes cave, ragefire the bear druid responsibility after death in about 10 seconds, I killed him and his guards 3 times but couldn't get away from him cause of his dawn fast response and auto attack
Dude the clasic looks like fun,it is like ,removing the posibility of resurrecting leads to the necesity of preparation,having to know the place where you are about to do misions,the mobs,the equipment you need to survive,almost looks like being a goblin's slayer

I died on my warrior in Jasperlode mine :( had no issues 1v1'ing all the mobs to get to the Rare at the back, and in all the time i'm fighting, the Rare doesnt move at all - as soon as i'm on the last spider before i pull the rare, the rare moves and patrols up the ramp... aggroes me and if i had Hamstring or something i could have possibly escaped or even gotten a bandage off and won - do not take anything for granted in HC lol
That death at 11:53 is so good. The guy is super tryhard with his addons, thinks he's a hardcore player, then proceeds to make 3 very stupid decisions in a row. 1: moonfire extra mob and then the one that was running away, ooming so he can't bear form. 2: turns to run, decides to root instead but forgets his back is now facing the mob and gets backstabbed. 3: runs away. All he had to do was not moonfire that extra mob, instead using it on the mob that was running away and low health. Even if he did make the mistake of pulling the second one, had he simply used his health potion and waited for mana to go into bear form, he'd probably have had the hp to kill the second one, or at least get it running and he will have been in bear form long enough to get enough mana to heal up while the mob was running and maybe had enough mana to moonfire dot the rest of it's hp.

A lvl 45 hunter was in gadgetzan And outta nowhere the bruisers just killed him outta nowhere (he wasn't flagged for pvp) any idea what might have happened? People said if your pet gets into combat the bruisers will aggro... but... wtf?
This is exactly why games need harsher death penalties. Not always perma-death but something meaningful that sucks. Adds a huge amount of risk vs reward to the game, which in turn makes it actually more exciting. Nobody cares if they die in 99% of MMOs these days, hell some its even a preferred form of fast travel. The look on their faces when they die is priceless, but so is the accomplishments they feel when they win.
What would be cool is u have to fight someone else that died and the winner gets to come back and the loser remains but also ready to face the next spirit and spirits fight to live again
How do people not know about the zig zag run. You run in a zigzag direction and the game can't keep up with your changing of directions and so you end up outpacing the thing that you're running from.
You didn't lose those days, you were obviously enjoying something and you're lucky to have eyes, hands, a functional brain, a computer, and some free time. We take for granted those things but we are so priviledged, some people don't even have that.
I'll remember them 13:57 until the day I die, and I mostly played Horde. Though I had a Dwarf Hunter at 60 as well as my main which was a Tauren Hunter back in vanilla lol

they should just change it so that resurrection could only be cast within the spirit release window (6 minutes) with some long but less severe resurrection sickness cooldown during which you can't be ressed again (24 hours) after that death is death. you get to keep the resurrection mechanics with no ghost walking, with the added bonus of "saving private zug" kind of missions.

Hunters don’t get hit? 32% of all hunters made are dead. No other class has died so much

The biggest problem is phasing. I've been phased multiple times into the middle of an area with 100% fresh spawns and I got fucked.

i find it funny most wow players dont know that the troll voodoo doc with the pot can actually result in death. if you get the launching result twice in a row, the buff doesnt stack or reset properly and will wear off before you land

I’m glad I took the time to go through Wow classic and burning crusade with my warlock before installing wotlk and eventually stuck with my bloodelf death knight. I miss my warlock character.

they should just change it so that resurrection could only be cast within the spirit release window (6 minutes) with some long but less severe resurrection sickness cooldown during which you can't be ressed again (24 hours) after that death is death. you get to keep the resurrection mechanics with no ghost walking, with the added bonus of "saving private zug" kind of missions.

I always hate when people pulling alot of mobs in hardcore. Like bruhhh moment for me xD Also leaving your friends behind when they afk also just plain stupid. Whenever someone AFk in my team we always stay there incase some random mobs will spawn or somethin. This is funny Lmao 😂😂
