I just got this model. Its perfect except for that flaw you mentioned about the hour limit. I plan to use it for more than 1h at a time on lower speeds (1.0 to 1.5 km/h) always at cooler temperatures (below 20d always). Despite the manufacturer limit, I hope this will be OK - can keep you posted. I will be careful and occasionally check if its hot at the front.
I need to clarify a mistake: The manual for this model states that a mat should not be used. I missed that, and mistakenly used the mat in the video. Please keep this in mind when using the device! But in my opinion, you don't need them for walking either.
Storage update: @FieryHammer wrote an email to WalkingPad to ask about storage. They replied just recently as follow: "R1 Pro, R2, X21 can be stored vertically However, for the C1, P1, C2, A1 Pro Z1, we generally recommend that you fold it and store it flat. If you prefer it to be stored vertically, for example, please lean it against a wall and choose a safe place so that it does not slip or fall off, as there are circuit boards and motors inside the head of the device."
Regarding your comment about not wearing a fitness tracker, you can put the watch in your pocket or even wear it on your ankle while using the walking pad. This will track your steps properly.
Important: I subsequently read in the operating instructions that the WalkingPad should take a 20-minute break to cool down after 1 hour of operation. It is therefore better not to walk the 10,000 steps in one go, as this can apparently lead to damage.
So I just purchased the same exact model and it’s not even moving and an error code e07 pops up. I tried adjusting the belt but that’s pretty much all I can do at this point. Any tips!? Should I just return it for a new one?
What is the warranty when it comes to faults ? I saw some comments people reciebing some models defects or models come defects with use -- with limitted support ?
This is an extract from their policy (July 10th 2024): WARRANTY Customers are covered by a one-year guarantee from WalkingPad. We provide complimentary returns and repairs within 30 days from the delivery date. Suppose the product is returned within the warranty period after more than 30 days from the delivery date. In that case, the customer can ship the product to our maintenance center with the shipping charge paid by the customer, and we will fix and return the product to the customer free of charge.
Are you sure it cannot be stored upright? I read mixed reviews about it being stored upright (for some it started to make weird noises after stored vertically) so I became unsure about it. Does the manual or any label say anything about this, because what I found with other models, some say you can store it vertically some say you should not, but I couldn't find the Z1's manual online.
I keep it upright right now and have not found anything in the operating instructions that advises against it. Otherwise I wouldn't know what the hard rubber on the front is for. What I did find is that it should have a 20 minute break to cool down after 1 hour of use. Maybe that has something to do with it. I'll write it again separately as a comment.

Nice review. Does it not have the auto mode? I thought the other WalkingPad models had some function that slows down when you slow down and speed up when you speed up. Edit: just saw on your other review, it does not have it. What don’t you like about the auto mode?
Hi Pino, that's right. i have the feeling that auto-mode does what it wants and is simply too insecure for me. Maybe I'm just too silly to use it properly!

@@4HappyHome321 Thank you looking forward to it so far I'm between P1 & Z1 -- more towards Z1 as its lighter + brushless motor yet P1 looks nicer and completly sealed. I think Z1 is a bit cheaper than P1 which is a concern to me not knowing why although they are both similiar
@@amiraazmy6701 What is your goal? If you weigh under 100 kg, you'll be happier with the Z1. My partner already finds the P1 relatively heavy (to pull) and the Z1 is comfortable in her eyes.
Yes, but like 08:20 is max speed. If you want a faster one with a good price have a look at my newest review of the MC11: th-cam.com/video/hyshwdvIpqk/w-d-xo.html
Another question, How does it compare against P1 & A1 Pro ? And is it lighter due to the use of more plastic in the body which got to be lighter if compared against P1 for example ? And would that make it less durable
It is quieter since it doesn't have a fan, and it's also easier to move around the room compared to the A1 Pro and the P1. I think it is more prone to damage than the other two, but so far, it's been really good for using at the desk.
@4HappyHome321 which treadmill would you recommend thats just as quiet but has arm support. Because i feel like without arm support i constantly have to look down to see if im not to far to the left or right
@@user-uf5jj3oy9w They are all pretty much equally quiet. My favorite is the X21, but the MC11 also works very well. I'm going to test the new WalkingPad Z3 next week, which has even better handles on the side.

What kind of floor protection mat is that?

Thank you so much for the recommendation. I want to get a standing desk so that I can start walking at home.
Sounds very good, Cho. I wish you all the best with it!
i want to ask,is the Z1F can show step pn the led screen like R1 pro?

If I'm 5'4, would it comfortable for running at 4.5-5 speed?
Hi, i just recommend this walking pad just for walking. 5 km/h is fast walking, which should work very well for your height.
Isee at 6:35 that its not stable at the back ? moving up and down
Yes, that's why I wouldn't recommend the big mat for the Z1. Only buy one at most to protect the floor.

I would not use it on a carpet table unless it is a thin one because rubber mats are also not recommended for the model.
