There are a few shacks that have flat roofs - if you get on top of one of them, and carefully place a floor in line with it, you can build a 2nd floor to make the most out of the limited space.
It's not the space that's the problem, it's the object cap. I know how to fix that through the console commands or through mods, but that's not something I do.
@@Dimetropteryx Just scrap items through workshop mode = unlimited space for bulding objects for console users. I know this comment is olf asf just advice for anyone playing the game wishing they could find a way past that stupid settlement cap.
Prophet Master yeah just drop hundreds of guns, chems, armour etc store it all to workbench then boom you got brand new build limit, I just finished doing it making hangman alley into a new 5 story fortress
I was running around with a cheat machete which kills enemies with what I imagine an invisible force push amplified to a million 😂 all I was doing was killing raiders, didn’t even know this place was around the corner and yeah they were all dead 🤦♂️ the machete has like a 500 metre kill radius.. yeah I deleted that mod😂
I recently started building Bunker Hill. I freed up gardening space by rug glitching the water pumps on to areas they normally couldn't go. I know it isn't practical because of the way the graphics work, but I wish I could use the huge subterranean area beneath Bunker Hill.
I GOT BUNKER HILL BACK...I sided with the institute and I thought I would never get bunker hill. Today I went back to bunker hill and I used console commands to resurrect the main npc's, and then I use the recycleactor command and I was able to get the settlement, The main female npc said something like "you have powerfull allies and consider the settlement yours. I was happy because I had tried to do this right after the battle of Bunker Hill and I was not able to do so. I guess I had to just complete the story line. Please tell me if this is common knowledge.
God how I wish you made your settlements mods to download on all consoles, with the option to scrap anything to make it your own, heck I’d pay to have the settlements you have
I really wish you could scrap the scaffolding at the entrance. I've put turrets there, but don't need the walkway up.nit takes so much space and leaves the entrance so crowded. I really like it when it's more open 😊
To summarize: getting Bunker Hill as a settlement, speak to the trader, the barkeep, then the local mayor, each will have their own mission to complete. Complete those, and you'll unlock a Resource to have the caravans travel to your settlements. Now, at first Mayor Kessler will stubbornly refuse Minutemen aid (even after all the help we give her, the ungrateful b--) but after when all hell breaks loose at Battle of Bunker Hill, she'll change her tune after you progress through the main story. Now believe it or not, it doesn't matter if you're with Institute or not, even with Minutemen, she'll still remark "You have powerful friends", because of course you do, you just wiped out the Institute. Bet she's happy about siding with us now, eh?
What I found frustrating about Bunker Hill is that when you get control of it, the build meter is already half full which doesn't leave room for a whole lot of improvements.
@@michaelproctor8100 whenever I do it it’s not really a problem as long as you don’t go overboard. Like I built a huge vault 88 and the FPS wasn’t REALLY good but it was still good for the amount I had there
@oxhorn could you do a video on fall out 4 bunker hill ? like the story / history behind it? or if you have a video already? i can't seem to find one from you on bunker hill and I really like your video's.
I get motion sickness watching your vids. Your panning is WAY too fast. Slow down! Stop wiggling about! However... love the content! Keep it coming. (Sorry for the rant. Just a suggestion.)
Wow, quick response, and you didn't tell me to FO. Thanks. I watch vids a lot, and play the game, and get headaches from all the viewing. I'm watching your stuff right now, but the fast pans are killing me! BTW, I REALLY like when you point out the enemy spawn locations. VERY helpful. Looking forward to that mod for the XBox.
Just found this settlement and was excited cuz I was hoping you had a video on this location and how to make it yours but sadly you dont..just this one😢 please take a look at this location🙏🏼🙏🏼
I dont know if you figured it out, but anyways here is how you do it: 1. option: Complete Battle of bunker hill institute main quest and after tha battle, talk to Kessler 2. option: be enemies with institute or refuse to join and do the "Prep School" miscellanious quest given by Kessler after you clear out the National guard training yard for Deb
You cN get it with Minutemen as well. Once you blow up Institute, Kessler will fall all over herself telling you it’s yours. I didn’t even want it. It’s horrible to try to build in and fortify.

+Tidalnado tidn You must complete the quest, The Battle of Bunker Hill. You may also need to complete the 2-3 quests that the merchants of Bunker Hill give you.
You need to do a full story on bunker hill.. I've been playing since day one and just yesterday realized I could make it a settlement
Apart from Covenant, this is probably the most frustrating settlement to make good use of, at least if you don't use mods.

Yet another settlement i had no idea you could use. Settlement building was my fav in the game and yet did not know this
Sadly I won't have Old Man Stockton being a nuisance when I get Bunker Hill. I found him dead about two blocks away, slumped against a wall.
Smellsbad Gaming same
He is essential except if you destroyed da railroad

BadAssSykO the disable command

so where do you get the settlement signs from? is it a mod or did you make that yourself?
The signs are from a mod called "gruffydds Signs and posters", and its available on the nexus.
What I found frustrating about Bunker Hill is that when you get control of it, the build meter is already half full which doesn't leave room for a whole lot of improvements.
Tbh since it’s the end of the game when you can use it I’d just use mods to make the build size bigger

If you dont know by now (it's been two years) just do the institude guests until you get the battle of bunker hill quest from suan

your like me, the settlements aren't just small they're small on purpose, to be a challenge when building
How are you jet packing without power armor on?
Its a mod

so do I have to finish the battle of bunker hill to be allied to this settlement?
I think so, yes.

Could you revisit Bunker Hill?
how do you unlock bunker hill as a settlement?
When I first went to Bunker Hill I jokingly took Kessler I was a raider and I just got the settlement. I'm not sure how to get it normally.
Why didn't you make a video how yo make this a settlement?
Scrap all let's you scrap the monument
How do you get bunker hill as a settlement
I would have just made some turrets and put a brotherhood flag on the front side of the monument
is this mod or what ?
Oxhorn can you message me a link for before your build no mods I just want a simple and easy build I can follow
Are you using mods?? How did you get this settlement?
You need to complete all Bunker Hill related quests for the Minutemen before you can get the settlement.
How can you do that??
How do I get allied with this place
Shaquan Tucker either do all the missions there or beat the gam3
Dude just have sanctuary hills as the farm and send people to got food/water
That isn't how the game works, you have to have beds, water, food, and some sort of defense at every settlement or else happiness will go down.
