MAX BATTERY function is mostly for best 0-100 acceleration. for top speed run it is not recommended.
Also it would be awesome if you could reset trip computer at 250kmh and drive at least few minutes at that speed.

With an 85d (525hp not 428hp) I was making 271km/h not downhill

how does this work in a Tesla: when you drive above a certain speed-threshold the suspension height gradually lowers itself automatically, but does it go automatically up, once are slower again?

If you combine the Power of both Engines.
Both engines could produce 700hp if the battery was strong enough
from 394 km range to 365 km range in just 2 minutes ...
that torque so overpowered
the problem with that car is high heat buildup with reduced power and low range at high speed. the power is only for show/fun and not for real use :(

what does max battery power do
it looks at the battery temperature and makes it a good temperature for maximum current to be able to flow from the battery (if it's not already at that temperature)

Should I get Tesla Model S or BMW M4?? I just hate how tesla is electric because I have to find their charging stations. And save electric to get here everytime. Ughh
M4 better sound takes 1 minute to put in fuel and sounds great
If you want to enjoy driving, and having fun, hear the nice music of the engine, get the M4. If you want to protect the enviroment pay less for petrol, but much less enjoyable drive get the Tesla

Dead wrong across the board. The battery has an 8 year unlimited mile warranty and the Model S holds value better than Mercedes S, BMW 7 series, Jaguar XJ and the rest.

700+ is when you combine the amount of both of the engines. You can't do this with electric car

Awesome car, but surprisingly, my 425bhp BMW 335xi does the 0-250 kph 1 second faster...
Nevermind, I thought my car was also faster on the 0-200 kph, but no, the P90D is 1.5 sec faster. That makes sense and that's what I've read everywhere, the P90D and any Model S are quick up to 200 kph.
Yeah, the problem in this case is called "Peukert's Law". Essentially, as the the speed rises, so does the current that flows from the battery to the engine. But with high current comes a higher loss rate, so car manufacturers limit the power of electric engines at higher speeds, or you would drain the battery of those cars in a very short time.
Electric cars do nothing me for me whatsoever. I would never buy electric. Don't get me wrong, this is a lovely looking car and what Tesla have achieved with this is absolutely incredible but it has to be a nice petrol engine for me every day of the week

Not everyone wants a loud race car, there are people who want comfort, so you can't say just because it's quiet it's never gonna be a real thing...
+Justin Crediblename the only reason electric cars exist in the first place is because to protect the environment. Engine cars are much better and more convenient. Yes everything is gonna take a while but electric cars definitely doesn't feel like it's gonna go mainstream. I'd rather find a gas station and fill up the gas in 2 min rather than having to care about charging stations and wait for hours. Just no.
