- After a series of events interrupts the Fun Gang's baking session, they take the chance to see Queen's new room within Castle Town! This was created in Gamemaker Studio 2 as a functional cutscene, and took about two and a half weeks to create.

I mean he made a reference to that one meme of kris waking up 2 am in the morning to eat an entire pie so it most likely will make it into the game
Considering the fact Kris and Susie are gonna wake up in that new dark world with no idea how they got there Toby could easily reference it there.
@@Orng9987 I saw this one idea where at the start of chapter 3 it would introduce "Mike" who would then be pushed away by the real main boss and Mike wouldn't be mentioned again. I thought it would be funnier if Mike tried to insert himself into the story more than once, but kept getting foiled by Tenna or whoever's cronies.

This is amazing. Queen telling Kris the only reason she said "I only play mobile games" is to piss off Berdly is hilarious and on point to her character

Bro my favorite part of deltarune was when queen got into an argument with swatch at the top of her castle. Swatch was pissed bc queen broke too many gaming consoles. Than queen pushed swatch off the castle and noelle showed up and helped queen blame it as a suicide. My fav part fr fr

Kris does talk, other characters always respond to them but we just don’t get to hear it. Kinda like the mother series

The spritework is amazing, I love the small details like Queen twirling the landline cord while talking on the phone.
Also the humour and writing in this is on point, the concentration of jokes per minute is exceptional. Queen pushing that poor Swatchling has got to be one of my favorite moments in all of these fan made cutscenes. And the ‘Immersion’ line ought to be a close second.

When ever lancer's portrait changes too the chad lancer, I always get the feeling that not only does his face actually do that, but he talks in a deep voice as well.
Me too; I can't imagine him not having a different voice that is much more sophisticated, lacks a lisp, and has him speaking in a deeper pitch.
The humour in this video is just on point, especially 8:27 it feels like something Toby would make lol

There is just something about toby fox's characters that produces an unshakable joy for me. It's like nothing I can put into words. Because these characters are so simple and their capabilities so small, anything they achieve feels tremendous. like a proud parent.

People think that the inclusion of Kris' dialogue is weird and not fitting considering that in official Deltarune chapter 1 and 2 they don't talk but I think it's genius because well, there's no game, it's just a cutscene, so no players input effecting gameplay. Kris in this fan made cutscene does not contain that red soul because you are not controlling them, you just a cutscene play out.

This is so in-character and as hilarious as chapter 2, absolutely love it
It's really uncanny that it is in 60 fps and the fact that instead of "You said to Ralsei that there is one cup left" or narrator's "There is one cup left" Kris is actually talking. Besides that, it's an awesome animation and without these flaws it would be indistinguishable from Toby's work.
