Revealing that the slave trade was not a common tradition in Ancient Egypt is not the only evidence author and researcher, Ashraf Ezzat relies on to refute that the story of the Exodus took place in Egypt. In his book “Egypt Knew neither Pharaoh nor Moses” you’ll find more evidence-based findings that substantiate his thesis.

Glad I stumbled upon your channel!! I visited Egypt last year and was amazed by the record keeping of the Ancient Egyptians. They kept records on everything! From mundane trades of livestock, day to day records of community events, to news of law and court reports. They also "memorialized" everything!- Statutes of average people were to them- like us taking photos of ourselves. Mummification was not just for "royalty"- even animals were mummified. So, to hear the biblical story of the "Israelite slaves" and the "plagues" just makes no sense. There would be records of these "slaves"! But, the thing that really stands out to me- that totally debunks the biblical narrative- is the "death of the first borns"- I can't imagine that such an atrocity would have occurred without massive records and mummies dedicated just to that one event and recorded throughout multiple families and generations of the Ancient Egyptians!

Agreed! It makes so much sense when you think about it. All those people in Egypt but no record of them having been there. No record of Moses or the plagues. They recorded much lesser events but events like the Nile turning to blood is not recorded. This one plague alone would have have destroyed Egypt and every surrounding area with all kinds of diseases. Think about it....everything in the nile dead and floating on top of the river. Flies, maggots, dead cattle and all. Plus, after the plague, where did the blood go? How did it get cleaned up? How did the fresh river water come back? The bible doesn't say {of course} as with many things. But I forgot...we aren't supposed to think. My bad!

The bible can be looked at as a funny book. Virgo rises headfirst and sets headfirst. On March 25, the constellation of the Virgin sets headfirst. She is upside-down and reveals her secrets (female thing). Part of her is below the western horizon where Adoni (the winter sun) strikes her in the head. Jupiter (the summer sun) aka Yahweh sees her vagina and impregnates her with his sun rays. As a result of this encounter, on December 25, the baby sun is born.....every year.

Just like medieval churches/cathedrals etc, pyramids required specialised skills. Israeli archiologists and historians had to also admit the stories were myth after extensive searches, digs and investigations into the Moses biblical history. They also could not find any evidence of a people wandering the desert for forty years. Does anyone else think it's odd that Moses could not speak directly to the crowds of followers and his brother Aaron had to enterprit his brother's talks? That little oddity was added by a myth writer.

Moses made it through 12 tropical constellations/months. The age of 120 = 12 signs. Moses, like many bible characters, "walks with god at the spring equinox." This god was the bull of heaven in the age of Taurus. Moses is depicted with bovine horns in Christian art. The "death" of Moses marks the movement from the age of Taurus to the age of Aries. The "lamb of god" = age of Aries/2,000 B.C.E. Joshua and Jesus are one and the same mythical character.

A CHILDREN’S SPEECH PATHOLOGIST who has worked for the last nine years with developmentally disabled, autistic, and speech-impaired elementary school students in Austin, Texas, has been told that she can no longer work with the public school district, after she refused to sign an oath vowing that she “does not” and “will not” engage in a boycott of Israel or “otherwise tak[e] any action that is intended to inflict economic harm” on that foreign nation. A lawsuit on her behalf was filed early Monday morning in a federal court in the Western District of Texas, alleging a violation of her First Amendment right of free speech.
The child language specialist, Bahia Amawi, is a U.S. citizen who received a master’s degree in speech pathology in 1999 and, since then, has specialized in evaluations for young children with language difficulties (see video below). Amawi was born in Austria and has lived in the U.S. for the last 30 years, fluently speaks three languages (English, German, and Arabic), and has four U.S.-born American children of her own.

The Israelites were simply Canaanites, living in the Levant, who grew apart from the mainstream and eventually left Canaanite society and headed East into the hills and started to do their own thing. They were not monotheistic for a long while, but they did elevate the gods El and Asherah above the rest (Baal, Astarte, Molech, Dagon, Shamayim, Yam, et al) which is why in the Torah the priests and prophets are constantly telling the people NOT to worship these other gods. Why would they have to keep reminding them unless they were doing it? The entire Tanakh was written centuries after the times depicted in the Torah/Pentateuch, probably while the Judeans were hanging with the Babylonians (so to speak), and it was not written as a literal history. Or if it was it wasn’t accurate at all. There was no captivity in Egypt, probably no Moses, no meetings with YHWH at the top of Mt Sinai, no literal Ten Commandments on stone tablets, no Ark, no conquering of Canaan, and if there was a Saul - David - Solomon lineage it was likely to be very modest in size and short lived, since neither the Egyptians or Hittites bother mentioning it except possibly in passing. Assyrian, Babylonian, and Ugaritic texts don’t talk about a mighty Davidic kingdom, just a people to be conquered like the rest of the city-states in the Levant and in Mesopotamia. Plus we know the Torah (the first five books of the so-called Old Testament for Christians) wasn’t written by any Moses but by at least four separate authors, each of which had their own agenda or perspective. They borrowed a hell of a lot from the Babylonians, who in turn had borrowed from earlier people such as the Sumerians. But all of this is known to modern scholars. You can probably read it on Wikipedia if fundies haven’t messed it up. You can read it in excellent books by Israel Finkelstein, Neil Silberman, Richard Friedman, and many others. You’re free to believe what you want of course, but if people want actual facts they should turn to the latest archaeology, anthropology, paleolinguistics, textual analysis, and other evidence-based sources.

Canaan, the fourth son of Ham, is still in the heavens as the constellation Scorpio. The meeting with YHWH (Zeus/Jupiter) took place on top of the heavenly Mount Olympus. Sinai = Moon + mount (constellation Cancer). Sion or Zion = Moon + Sun, like in Cancer (Moon rules Mercury, our Wednesday) and Leo (Sun rules Jupiter, our Thursday).
      Religion is synonymous with Astrology.
Since Scorpio is the leader of the five months that can harm man through cold, hunger, darkness, death, etc. We could say the "land of Canaan" contains the constellations Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. This is one big nation.

_You'll love this one guys, and I'm sure you'll find it interesting_ The answer is both in km and miles (for Americans).
Did some funny math yesterday evening about poop, and thought that I should be _extremely_ conservative.
_Only_ 100 gram poop _only_ once a week = 5.2 kilos a year * 40 years in the desert = 208 kg * _only_ 2 million people = 416 million kilos of dirt in total.
Since dry deserts don't form layers, things that died or was left there several thousands years ago, would still be *_on_*_ the surface._
The Sinai peninsula is 60'000 square meters. If one poop (100g) is left on a _only_ a 5*5 cm surface = 2,5 square meters per kg.
Sow _how much_ surface would 416 million kilos cover?
*Answer* 416M kg / 2.5 sq m = 166'400'000 square meters / 60'000 sq m = _the entire peninsula covered with 2.77 square km , or 1.72 square miles of shit UP in the air._
Again - these are _extremely conservative_ numbers. Archaeologists have been digging and searching the (still very dry) desert for proof for 25-30 years and found nuthin'. That includes _latrines_ kitchens, fire places, camp sites, graves and more.
But the numbers alone _should_ make it unnecessary to even have skilled archaeologists go searching.

    • @MPzoid
      @MPzoid ปีที่แล้ว

that (of course) would be the case if we assume that your head is full of poop/shit 😂😂😂
ok let's assume as you said that 1 poop/shit = 100g and for that is area of 25cm² needed: 1000g is 10x 100g. So i assume you calculated instead of 5*5cm you calculated 50cm*50cm=2500cm²=0.25m² and not 2,5m² as you said. So let's assume it's 0.25m² per 1kg poop/shit. Furthermore, if you know that for 0.25m²=1kg then if you wanna know how much m² for 416 mio. kg of poop/shit you would actually have to multiply it with 0.25m² and not divide by it. Division wouldn't make sense here. So instead 416,000,000kg * 0.25m²/kg = 104,000,000m². Also btw, sinai peninsula size is not 60,000 m² (that would be waay too small) it is actually 60,000 km² (look it up on google) which would be 60,000,000,000m². So 104 mio. is waay smaller than 60 Billion m². Even if you calculated 416 mio. kg * 2.5m²/kg as you said, it would still be 1,040,000,000 (1.04 Billion) m² so it would still be less than the 60 Billion m² which is the actual size of sinai peninsula area. What am i even doing here wasting my time with this nonsense lol, i stooped down to the same level as you by doing all these useless calculations😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Israel was destroyed by the Assyrians in 722 BCE and Judah was conquered by Babylon, in 586 BCE scholars normally place the Babylonian era as when the Torah was beginning to be written down, and after Persia conquered Babylon they allowed the Jews to go back to their land in Canaan, and they built the monotheistic religion that would eventually become known as Judaism.

ACTUALLY, the Bible says that the Israelites (only Joseph's family) were welcomed into Egypt during the seven years drought and given special land to dwell on due to the smell of their cattle. It also says that because of the love pharoah had for Joseph, the Israelites did not have to pay taxes to pharoah (..could be why they're not mentioned as they were 'left alone'...).
Anyway, according to the Bible, they resided in Egypt for about 400 when THEN came a pharoah who did not remember Joseph or why these ppl got special treatment and so he decided to tax them as all other ppl living in Egypt paid tax.
Of course the Israelites didn't like this and so rebelled thus the pharoah started making them do hard manual labor (this is why they felt like slaves). According to the Bible, Moses didn't like the mean treatment of the people and he hit one of the guards. He then ran away, got married, had kids, etc. It was about 70 years after that when God spoke to him to free the Israelites from Egypt.
To actually read the Bible (not just special scriptures given in church) will enlighten a ton of evils committed BY the Israelites as apparently recorded BY THEM. Such as barbaric wars to take over other people's lands after the Exodus from Egypt, king David kills a man to have his wife AND has many wars with his own sons, king Solomon has demons help build the 'temple', Sampson kills a slew of people for their coats because he lost a bet. I mean, seriously, there's some evilness about these ppl.
Americans, however, want to love them because of Jesus. Americans seem to not understand that the Israeli's don't believe Jesus is the Messiah from God. So, yes, we are all being duped.
If you want true ancient religion (which would be purest to the beginnings) look up Zoarastrianism and even the Emerald Tablets of Thoth.

My view of the Exodus story in the Bible is that it was probably based on some real events, but was most likely over exaggerated by oral tradition. You have to remember that the land of Canaan (modern day Israel) was an Egyptian territory from the 15th to 11th centuries BCE, so perhaps maybe that's where the idea of slavery in Egypt came from?

I have a lot of comments from my own vids with Christians who will point to a relic or a minor piece of evidence and claim that backs the exodus fable. IE: Look, something showing that Hebrews were slaves! Yes I'm sure there were some Hebrew slaves. Nothing that indicates it was a global slavery nor exodus nor wandering in the wilderness for forty years. The problem with apologists is they take a maybe truth or small truth then create a giant jump to attempt to prove a much larger truth. There remains nothing that shows Moses existed nor led an exodus nor Joshua later took Jericho and AI or any of the other fables. Cheers, DCF

The pyramids are not mentioned in the Torah because they were built hundreds of years before the Israelites ever arrived in Egypt. According to the Bible, they didn't arrive until approximately 1661 BC (215 yrs before the Exodus), and Joseph had already arrived some 20-22 years earlier. From what I understand, the pyramids were built as early as 2450 BC.

Everyone in Pharaonic Egypt was a slave. The state owned its people. There wasn't an open air slave trade like we see later in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Egypt's economy was built on people doing what the government told them to do. They worked the fields - not for personal enrichment but because the central planners told them to. And in their spare time, they were put to work building government buildings, monuments and tombs. It wasn't Kunta Kintae being whipped and beaten. You didn't have to do that in Egypt because everybody just simply did what they were supposed to do. This economy is described in the Book of Moses.

to anyone.. who still have a doubt about Arabian origin of bible checkout (hopefully Iam not using dr ezzat's reference from his book)
arabia in the Bible is Modern Saudi Arabia:
    1. Arabia in the Bible is always, without exception,
the land of Midian. (Modern Saudi Arabia).
    2. Arabia is associated with Kedar. Kedar is called
"men of the east" Jer 49:28.
    3. Kedar was the son of Ishmael, who intermarried
with the Midianites and lived south east of the
Dead Sea. "These are their genealogies: the
firstborn of Ishmael was Nebaioth, then Kedar" 1
    Chronicles 1:29
    4. Ishmael settled in Shur and the wilderness of
    Paran: Gen 16:12; 21:21; 25:18
    5. Ezek 27:21 clearly shows that Arabia meant Saudi
Arabia: " Arabia and all the princes of Kedar".
    Kedar was
    6. Isaiah describes Arabia as including Kedar
(Ishmael's son): "The oracle about Arabia. In the
thickets of Arabia you must spend the night, O
caravans of Dedanites. ... all the splendor of
Kedar will terminate" Isaiah 21:13, 16
    7. In describing the swath of land from Babylon
( Hazor) to Saudi Arabia ( Kedar) Jeremiah 49:28
tells Hazor (Babylon) to invade Kedar (Saudi
Arabia) calling them "men of the east".
"Concerning Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor ,
which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon defeated.
Thus says the Lord, "Arise, go up to Kedar And
devastate the men of the east. " Jeremiah 49:28
    8. Therefore Arabia = Ishmaelites, Midianites,
Kedarites, Wildernesses of Shur and Paran, Midian
    9. The Ishmaelites, Midianites, Kedarites never lived
west of the Arabah valley in the Negev.

you know, it makes you think as a believer of the bible one must always acknowledge that the text was altered many times over, usually in the favor of the believers. as a jewish believer you have to take in account that before the torah was written, all text was communicated to others verbally, so of course there will be falsehoods in texts. as a christian i see how this could have happened and really i am not surprised. it does not make my religion invalid but it does show that humanity can warp and shift history in their favor, a lot of the time making their god look worse.

They didn't need to have a slave trade to get all of those slaves. They simply forced a group of people who were not Egyptians to be slaves for them. As the Bible states, "a pharaoh came along that did not know Joseph," (didn't know what Joseph had done for the Egyptians, or at least, didn't want to acknowledge it). God helping His people to survive, in turn, helped the Egyptians not to suffer as much as they would have. I suspect, when Joseph was mentioning that many people were kept alive by what happened, he was also thinking about the Egyptians. He seems to have been that kind of person.
It is interesting to note that Manetho, the Egyptian priest/historian, specifically stated that during the reign of Pharaoh Tutimaos (aka Dudimose), Egypt suffered "a blast of God," (not the gods). It seems to be that Manetho was acknowledging that perhaps it was the "God of all the Earth" that was the one that was involved.
If you don't look for the right "pattern of evidence" at the right time, you won't find what you're looking for. I, personally, would recommend the video "Exodus, Patterns of Evidence."

Christianity was evolved from mystery religion & it was originally an greco- Roman mystery religious tradition at that point in history.
There was even an early Christian sect "marcionism" which doesn't believe in Hebrew god Yahweh.
Original Christianity have nothing to do with Hebrew bible and Yahweh. Paul inserted his own tribal Jewish religious beliefs n merged it, into it.
    (Checkout Richard carrier).
There was many Jesus -the anointed one- without and before Yahweh. (serapis)
This Jesus began as a Pre-existing celestial deity (With goes with kamal salibi's theory of an Arabian deity) --revealing truths to his followers through hidden massages in scripture. Who leter historicized.
    (Euhemerized)
This was a trends going on in the Greco-roman late antiquity.. (mystery religions)
Syncretism : combining a foreign cult deity with Hellenistic element.
Monotheism : transforming polytheism into monotheism (via henotheism).
Individualism: agricultural salvation cult retooled as personal salvation cult.
Cosmopolitanism : all race cultural classes admited as equal with fictive kingship (members r brother) you now joins a religion rather then being bron into it.

His name was Hoshea ( הוֹשֵׁעַ) the son of Nun (Southern fish in Pisces), of the tribe of Ephraim (Taurus), but Moses called him Joshua (Numbers 13:16), the name by which he is commonly known. He (Joshua/Jesus) was born in Egypt (on December 25) as a Hebrew slave (sun below the equinoxes aka Jerusalem of the handmaid/slave). Now you know why the Pope and other biggies wear the fish hat. Indeed, it continues to say Jacob and his family were given the best of the land in goshen away from the egyptians. They were not enslaved until decades or centuries later.
So-called scholars are so eager to disprove bible they dont even read the text with any thoroughness.

I know you want to sell books, but .... there were 3 types of slavery in Egypt in the new kingdom 1550-1175 (chattel slavery, bonded labor, and forced labor). Since the Middle Kingdom foreign slaves mainly from Asia became increasingly numerous. They were either prisoners of war or traded by slave merchants.
    * A vizier had the right to impose perpetual forced labour on a convicted criminal, which would put him in a position of virtual slavery.
    * A paper notes that under a campaign by Tuthmose III, 295 slaves were taken... Ahmose gave 4 slaves to a servant of the crown...
    * Papyrus Harris: I gave them ...men of the tribes ... and their wives and children were made likewise.... and continues: "I carried away those whom my sword spared, as numerous captives, pinioned like birds before my horses, their wives and their children by the ten-thousand"...
    * On a stela Sheshonq lists his endowments of people... Nesittetat, whose mother is Tedimu, the female slave.... and continues the list and mentioning their value.
    * One text says: "Ray approached me with the Syrian slave... buy this girl, give me a price".
    * Amenhotepo orders 40 concubines
Ä In the 21st dynasty we have lists of male slaves and their prices....
    * Tuthmose returns from Canaan with 90.000 prisoners
    * In the book of the dead we have texts where it says they have treated slaves well (quite weird if slavery was not common).

    • @AshrafEzzat
      @AshrafEzzat  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

You are talking about prisoners of war and gifted royal concubines. Meanwhile, I'm pinpointing a whole different issue, the culture of slavery among common people. Once again so that this will be a clear cut point - unlike Assyria, Phoenicia and Ancient Arabia, Ancient Egypt never had a public market for slaves. Simply, slave trade was not a common culture in Egypt before it was conquered by the Greeks. And really this not about selling books, rather buying the truth.

    • @PjotrII
      @PjotrII 6 ปีที่แล้ว

th-cam.com/video/Xyk73458g_o/w-d-xo.html and several texts talks about people selling themselves into slavery, so my point is that Egyptians had several different kinds of slavery (= it was quite common). The examples earlier were some from war etc, however like in the example of Tuthmosis taking 90.000 slaves... did he keep them himself, or sell them from money? I don´t know if it was a public or private market, but the numerous texts about prices/slave gives me a feeling it was common practice "buy this girl - give me a price, as in the example or Ray". It was not only slaves from war that were sold.

Prisoners of war as well as indentured servants were very common in the Nile civilization, as they did not have a centralized unit of wealth aka money. As everything was based on gold and its weight. So pay for working on a pyramid would be grain and beer. These people were also not traded as if products of the economy. Prisoners of war would be chained to prevent escape until trusted and indentured servants would have to pay off their debts generation after generation in order to preserve the property that they went into debt for. These people also had rights and could excercise these rights at their own will, example if the supervisor of their work beat them or was cruel they could seek shelter at a temple, and once they had worked for a period of time they could show the fruits of their labour and exit servitude. We see forced labour of prisoners of war and indentured servitude as forms of slavery today, yes. But they were not slaves in the Atlantic Slave Trade or City State Greece sense. They are not slaves in the sense that their bondage is holding them to the location but rather they must repay a debt of either property or loyalty in order to exit servitude.

    Pharoah came from 2 ancient Egyptian words = Pr + 3aa ( بر & عا )
    Pr = house / gate & 3aa = عا = عالى أو عظيم
Pr 3aa = the great gate/ the great house = the palace
Indeed it was until recently, the title ( البيت العالى فلان ) was used to indicate a man with a powerful position such as Lord / Pacha.
    ******************
Likewise, the name Mosa ( Moses ) consists of two Egyptian words
Mo & Sa where Mo = water ( Egyptians still use the word Moya for water ) while Sa meant
    out of / son of
Mosa = son of the water/ out of the water ( as he was found floating on the water )
The same goes to the name 3esa = 3e = great / powerful & sa = out of or son of
( عيسا = عى أو عا = عظيم & سا = إبن أو إللى من ) the son of the Powerful/ of the great out out of the great/ powerful ( God )

Have you read the book? Apparently not. His thesis basically correctly states that the word Pharaoh means “palace”. Ancient Egyptians didn’t use it to refer to their kings. A king was simply a king.
And the Exodus of Hebrews out of Egypt never happened. There was a smaller migration of the Hibiru (Hebrews) in the Arabian peninsula, which somehow became extrapolated into the fantasy we have today. Read the book, it’s extremely interesting and informative.

Israel, of the bible, is a combination of four signs in the mazzaroth (Zodiac). The head is represented by the Lion (Leo) and the tail is the scorpion (Scorpio). Below Leo is the Palm Frond (constellation Virgo). Below Virgo is the Reed/bulrush aka Libra, the first southern constellation. See Isaiah 9.4, where Adoni cuts off the head (Leo) and tail (Scorpio). Biblical Israel is composed of the four sons of Ham (heat). You can see a graphic depiction, of Israel, in the Manticore.

I agree that the Bible is full of falsehoods and as an athiest I'm kinda annoyed that this video seems to do more "blame shifting" than debunking.
Yes the Bible gave Egypt a bad rep, but why are you villianizing Arab slavery to the point of minimizing other slave nations?
I was really hoping to see an in depth research on Egypt and its relation to Abrahamic religions but instead it's a defensive pity party, a disappointment really.

    • @AshrafEzzat

I’m not only villainizing Arab slavery but also ( and most importantly) highlighting the histo-geographical context/origin of the earliest slave traders in history. We all know about the trans-Atlantic slave trade … but who knows about the Ancient Arabian (Jewish) slave trade and torture of the black natives of the horn of Africa. As for ancient Egypt and its relation to the Abrahamic religion … the answer is almost non. Terah, the "father" of Abram, Haran, and Nahor, is copied from the Latin Terra (Greek Ge). The ram that Abraham "sacrifices" is partilly copied from Greek myth of the Golden Ram. This Golden Ram is the constellation Aries and this is where we find Gad, a son of Jacob. Gad is copied from the Latin Fortuna.

@Siyabonga Maphanga as an atheist myself, the very fact that the Israelites were not slaves in Egypt is enough. He also pointed out the illogical number of israelites that there would have been. Besides, there's literally no evidence, written or archaeological that has been found confirming the presence of israelites in Egypt, yet.
